Five Star Stay-Put Pocket & Prong Folder, Assorted Colors (33881)

Other Folders I have bought ripped and fell apart. These folders are very durable and pockets on the inside to hold lose paper. And I don't have to worry about them, ripping or falling apart.

These three prong folders (called Duo Tangs in Quebec) are so solid that I reuse them year after year for my school age kids. I have a child who deliberately destroys things (boredom, curiosity, stimming, etc) and another who is inattentive/careless so I have found out through experience which things last and which do not. These Mead folders are amazing! They have held up for several years in elementary! We wash them up during the summer to get them clean and prepped for the new school year. Solid, reliable, and economical versus repurchasing year after year.

I have used these as Communication Folders for my students in Kindergarten. They're durable and waterproof. The left side is for things to "Keep at Home" and the right side is for things to "Return to School". There's also a little pocket for money (i.e. Scholastics Money, Milk Money, Pizza Money, Trip Money) and permission forms/orders.

Really great. Used this when I was a Unit Secretary and needed something to properly organize information so it was always easy to reach. Forgot about how great this one...totally need to get one for work!

I wish I could pick the color, ended up getting a green folder. Not a big deal. It's made out of a very thick plastic, great quality. Five Star never disappoints!

I've learned that sometimes it's worth spending a little more to get a better value when it comes to schools supplies for boys. After a few years of buying my son the cool character folders that would rip after a month or two of school, I decided to spend a little more and try these. This was mid-way through 3rd grade. He's entering 6th grade this year and plans on reusing the same folders again. They're very hard to find, and I've only been able to find them in Walmart during school supply season. So I've stocked up buying several of each color so we'll always have them for years to come. Every few months we wipe them off with a damp paper towel and they look as good as new.

In all honesty the only reason why I bought this was because the Walmart brand was out of the color my kiddos needed for class. Feels very cheap. But it does the job, however it should since it's almost double or triple the price of the other brands.

I really like these folders but the picture shows that these are the ones with the clear closable pocket but when they came they did not have that.
