my first time buying one of these and it is no joke. if you're not for me with tools and heavy duty stuff don't buy but if you are it's a winner game changer

The product is made of really good quality. I like the fact that the cord is pretty long, and the flame has really good burst. It isn't made for super packed snow/ice, but fresh snow it mows down!

I haven't received the product yet so I can't accurately rate the quality. The price, however, was slightly cheaper than the product lists for on the manufacturer website. So that's good.

Crappy customer service response to problem
My husband is 6'4" tall and has to bend over to reach down so the flame will reach the target (leaves, stump, etc.). It seems a little dangerous to have to not be able to extend your arm from an upright position and have the wand long enough to reach the ground without bending over the flame. When I contacted the company, explained the situation, and wanted to see if they made an extension for the wand to make it longer, they told me that there was no extension available and that my husband needed to use the torch properly. If they were saying he shouldn't bend over, then they need to explain how he's supposed to get the flame to reach the target when the wand isn't long enough. It seems to function ok, just needs a longer wand or a person less than 6' tall to use it.

Be aware that the connector for this item is a POL connector, not the modern propane tank connector. None of my propane tanks would accept the connector. It would probably work fine if it had a connector that fit current propane tanks..

We've hooked 3 new tanks to it and each time it works for about 2 minutes and won't ignite again until you put a new full tank on it.
