Flex Paste Max Industrial Sealant, Thick Rubber Paste, Black, 12 lbs

I purchased the flex paste to close open ends in my deck railing which is 1 1/2" pipe. your product was fresh and I used a butter knife to do the job. I was able to clean the knife and my hands afterward ...it worked perfectly and I still have some I am saving for any leaks that should arise.

So for 9 years I've been trying to seal my back sun porch which has an aluminum roof. My son and i coated it 4 times, I had a contractor coat it twice and I coated it another 4 times last Spring. But it still leaked and got considerably worse as time went by. I thought, what the h%$l, let's give it a try im running out of options. I sealed the roof prior to a storm so i could get a good test of the seal and NOT 1 DROP! I can't believe it! Although it's only been a month i feel it did the job, time will truly tell but i couldn't be happier.

Packaging of this quick and effective sealant is poor! The plastic filler cover is barely effective. Once the jsr is opened the clock dtarts ticking giving one limited time before the whole jar contents solidifies. What was able to be used, for the puroises intended was sure and effective. Depending how serious the fault is determines whether the expense of purchasing Seal Flex is justified.

When I got the jar the outside of the paste was already hardened. About 1" around the jar. I used the inside of the jar and it was ok. I am not good at stuff like this and then I saw the spray kind and that is what I should have ordered to begin with!

I bought the paste to re do some seals on the roof of my rv. I found it hard to apply smoothly & there was a decent amount of unusable product inn the tub as it had hardened around the edges. In the end I have had ho leaks so it worked out in that aspect.

It's a great product, BUT, unless flexseal finds a better a better way to package their product expect to lose 1/3 . The top one third of every tub has already solidified when you open it. In essence you're paying for 2/3 of whatever is marked on the tub. I've got a bunch of solid donuts from each tub if anybody wants them. THAT ALUMINUM FOIL ON TOP IS NOT DOING THE JOB.

So far I went through 3 tubs out of 4. In each tub, when I lifted out the foil "seal" there was a ring of dried and hardened paste all around the edge which I had to dig out. Seems like the seal did not seal very well,or the product sat around too long. Also I sure wish the paste was a little softer and easier to spread and work with.

When advised on tv you show the three pound tub and a much larger tub but at the website to purchase the larger size isn't available. Also in each 3 lb tub that I purchased there was a large dry chunk of the material that I had to remove in order to get to the rest of the paste.

I had a leaky copper pipe in the basement that was slow-dripping water. It continued to drip even after applying a generous layer of Flexseal all around it. Had to call the plumber who cut off the leaking segment and soldered a new end to the pipe. It was also messy to apply.

totally failed to live up to what was advertised. i was trying to seal cracks in a fiberglas tub. it didn't stick, just slid across surface as i tried to spread. spent a lot of money on a total failure. i fixed the problems by using epoxy and fiberglas tape.
