This item works well with the hyper tough flush value. I replace the green flapper because I didn't want to go through the trouble taking off the flapper and adjusting it with a screw driver With the fluid master universal flapper, you can easily adjust the flapper with your hand while fill valve is filling the toilet. Start with 5 because if you start 9, water will come out from under the toilet. This means too much water is being used. The extra water got no way to go so it just comes out under the toilet. Keep adjusting until your toilet flush properly and make sure no water coming from under the toilet. If it doesn't flush properly at 5, that means you need more water. Go one number at a time until it right If does flush properly, you can try go to with less water and see what happens. The more water you save the better I guess. I am no plumber this is just base on my experience working on my two toilets and what I read online .
We have a water saver toilet, and the flapper has aged enough that it leaks and the float has started not working properly. We got a new universal float and flapper set, the float worked fine, but the flapper wouldn't fix this toilet, so, it still leaked. We purchased this flapper, installed it in minutes and haven't had a leak since.
This is the only toilet flapper I use to replace worn flappers that start to leak they last for about 2 to 3 years it's good value for the money at five bucks each instead of replacing the whole toilet tank assembly. It has an excellent seal and fit.
Our old one wore down and was leaking. This new one is a perfect fit and it completely fixed the problem. I highly recommend it for a superior flapper.
Was able to change out the old leaky flapper for this one in about 5 minutes. The hard plastic connection arm snaps in place and feels sturdy. The fit is perfect and now I have a nice tight seal; no more running water.
This Fluidmaster 2" flapper replaced my 15 year old leaky Fluidmaster flapper. The new one seemed improved and was easy to replace by following the simple directions on back of package. I noticed that my old flapper was set on the max level, so I set the new one on 6 and my American Standard toilet flushes easier than ever since a plumber replaced my original toilet and he also installed the kit and flapper inside tank, me never aware of that it was an adjustable flapper. I'm very happy with purchase at Walmart.com. I purchased on sale, it arrived at my front porch the next day via free delivery by Walmart. No more running water noise every 20min lasting for 10 seconds. I saved money by doing this myself.
I was not aware my old flapper had stopped working until I got my water bill and it was 2 times the normal amount had my neighbor check and ordered this item. Needless to say my next bill was back to normal This is an awesome product and has continued to work well these past months. Thank yo for offering this item but mostly for all the dollars saved
We had this same Fluidmaster flapper in the toilet for many years and never had a problem. It finally needed to be replaced so we used a generic black flapper that we had in the house. Well that did not seal properly and water kept leaking slowly into the toilet. I ordered this flapper - got free shipping to my home - it only took about 2 minutes to install. It seals perfectly - no leaks.
I got my order on time. Thank you.
It wasn't the size of my toilet.
