Excellent Fluidmaster product, high quality and very fairly priced. It performed its function perfectly and immediately solved my toilet emergency on the 27th, so it deserves 5 stars in every aspect.

I replaced my 20-year-old Fluidmaster with this new one, both the basic model. (The web site suggestes replacing at 7 years--ha.) Took me 5 minutes to install, no leaks, works great.

I hate plumbing I really do. Always a simple job "can" go from going good to going really bad quickly. But not the case here. Our Office Chair had started leaking inside the housing a few month ago. It was making a winding sound as if water was being squeezed under pressure. Come to find out the inside Float Leveler had broken and wasn't really filling the tank properly even though it was still somewhat working. But not like it should. I really was dreading this little job. (Note to self) No matter how big your working room is, you can NEVER NEVER do these jobs in this area without somewhat hugging this Porcelain, NEVER. But this little kit came with everything that was needed except the Pliers. Now the water shut valve under the tank "can be" a Problem area. When you go to shut off the water to the Toliet. This valve most of the time is stuck, because it has not been shut off in YEARS. And all that sediment in the water will keep the valve from closing tight. This can cause diconnecting water line to have a major water leak. Or, when disconnecting the water line fitting from the tank This fitting is mostly old and will crack when untighting or tighting. For these reasons, is why alot of plumbers charge what they do. It's always a rabbit hole when working with plumbing. But! Not this time. The best way to do this is remove the flushing handle from the tank, this is mostly likely with "BACKWARD" threading. Get that out of the way first. I used a Shop Vac and slurpped all the water from the tank. I used a sponge and dried the area around the Flushing valve. It took about 15 mintures for everything to be completed. Now our little Office Chair flushes faster, better and quieter. Mama is happy. And so am I.

Easy install. Works great. toilet would fill extremely slow, after maintenance replacement a year ago. so I did it myself. Simple jobs like this, are easy. They have instructions. Most home repairs are easy. Good product not overpriced. Walmart plus ➕️ free delivery.

This item was substituted for my original order and was cheaper! Walmart refunded the difference. It installed just fine and is operating as intended.

When I received my delivery, it was wrapped in plastic. When I opened the plastic, the box inside was smashed on both ends and the part in the middle was separated into 2 pieces. I was leery of it working properly since the box was busted up. I'm still waiting on my refund. I returned it the next working day.

this item broke within the first ten days were I was trying to raise the water level up it snapped the circular eye that holds that valve in place not good
