Installation was easier than I thought it would be. All hardware was included in the package and no tools are required. The instructions were good enough, although I couldn't raise the valve 3 inches above the drain or my lid wouldn't close (maybe 1.5 inches), and it still flushes just fine. The retaining nuts are the butterfly type, so they might be hard to remove if they get brittle. Total installation took around 5 minutes, and I hate plumbing.

THIS ITEM HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS, EASILY REPLACING THE OLD STYLE OF THE BALLCOCK ASSEMBLY. STUPID SIMPLE AND THE ONLY WAY TO GO FOR A 10 MINUTE FIX TO YOUR TOILET ISSUE. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE A THING !!! IT WORKS GREAT SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN THE EARLY 80'S !

If your toilet is constantly running and adjusting the fill valve doesn't fix it, don't call a plumber! Just replace this part on your own. Sooooo simple!!

I've used this universal repair valve for a while now whenever I have issues flushing. Never had issues installing it. Always fit the different toilet tanks. Takes around 15 minutes to install (probably most of the time is used to removed the old one which could be 'stuck'). Would recommend it.

I got this for my toilet that was constantly running. This was an extremely straightforward Repair. Add a picture of my old filled valves, which was different. However, these are apparently more straightforward and less likely to break in the future. Very easy to adjust the level. Came with instructions and everything was present that I needed. Longest part was just emptying the water.

At first I was nervous it was going to fit. But I gave it a try because my toilet is a standard size and yeah it worked! Now I can just flush my toilet without it constantly running all day and all night. Also now my water bill won’t be high anymore lol

Very easy to replace the unit. Adjusting to fix perfectly and set tank water level is very easy to accomplish. Makes you look like a master plumber. Great instructions.

After using two low flow regulators which both leaked continuously, I bought this and installed it. leak stopped, at least for now. This is a very SLOW fill valve, you can't flush twice without waiting ten minutes for a refill. Installation is easy enough, simple tools and and about forty five minutes and done.

For some reason we were not able to raise it so the water line would be higher but I was ok with a lower water line and it was a lot cheaper than a plumber.

This item was substituted for my original order and was cheaper! Walmart refunded the difference. It installed just fine and is operating as intended.
