Korky QuietFILL Fill Valve and Standard 2-Inch Rubber Toilet Flapper Kit (818BP)

wanted to replace the old system in the toilet tank. decided on this because it eliminates the floating water guage (black ball). installation was quick and easy without the use of any tools. did need a wrench to disconnect the old system though. five stars for this replacement isn't high enough. a must buy.

I've never done any kind of household DIY repair/replacement let alone plumbing. My running toilet and high water bill led me to youtube for answers. After watching a few videos I felt reasonably certain I could do this myself. This brand was one of the brands mentioned in a few videos so I picked up the kit. The instructions were easy enough to follow that even I couldn't mess this up. Changing everything out was a complete success and my water bill is back to normal

Great item! I know nothing about plumbing but this piece was not filling up the tank according to the you tube video. So I analyzed the situation and thought this part was the culprit. Turned off the water. Simply and easily removed this piece and reversed the process and wallah! Success. Great price and got here in 2 days. Toilet is running and filling as it should.

this is much smaller than I expected but that it's my fault for not paying attention to the details, when the tank only feels about 2/3 fall with this piece. Which is actually a plus in some ways because it saves water, however the tank doesn't get full enough to flush completely so sometimes it requires two flushes or you have to stand there and hold the handle down until it completes.

Can't get any easier to change out parts. Only problem is with flapper. It is flimsy and may not seal well and lets water run continuously. Had to buy a better flapper.

The first one of these I purchased was great so when I needed another replacement for a second toilet l was all about this replacement kit, unfortunately this one is not so quiet when it finishes filling as it makes a weird kinda squeaky noise. I didn't want to bother with pulling it out again so I will live with it for now because the half bath it's in is a bit of a pain to work in!

i honestly can't tell you. all i know is i bought the thing and my husband was like that doesn't look right, so we returned it. it's a me problem, not necessarily the product. it was really cheap so i'm not sure if that matters. again, i have no idea.

Everything was good with their product ,until i went to yighten it down ,the plastic Nut ,that tightens the value, to the tank, and keeps it from leaking... BROKE, So either i want my money back , or another plastic fitting nut ... Thank you , Chris Upchurch
