Korky Standard 2-inch Ultra High Performance Universal Toilet Flapper (100)

My old flapper was letting water through and the toilet would run every few minutes, which made my water bill shoot up sky high. Found this flapper at the local Walmart and it fits perfectly. The toilet immediately stopped the extra water loss with the excellent seal provided by the flapper. Now water only goes out when I flush.

Korky Ultra Standard 2-inch Universal Rubber Toilet Flapper (100) - it did the job quickly and without having to make any adjustments - I don't want to say it was a life saver - but it was for sure a time saver and money saver as no professional plumber was needed (nor a semi-professional handyperson was needed!). Price was very affordable! The change was a piece of cake - the ease of installation took only a few moments, the fit was perfect providing a proper seal - no more runny toilet!

I've bought this product multiple times over the years, and it is easy to install. The places I've lived usually have older style toilets (the "only need to flush once" kind) and when the flap starts to wear out, the water level in the tank will frequently drop enough so that the tank will automatically refill with water. Replacing the flap solves the problem and conserves water.

After all these years dealing with a running toilet, I can't believe that all I needed to do was replace this little thing! Had a friend tell me that I would have to replace the whole works inside the tank. I called a plumber who said he would do it for $100! So, I went online and researched it. Low and behold, a Youtube guy said that all I needed was a flapper. Installed it myself in 2 minutes.

Easy to install. Fixed my problem. I had just installed a kit, from a different brand, to replace my toilet tank filler and flapper. The flapper from the brand new kit leaked badly! THIS flapper is just a SIMPLE flapper with no special features except IT DOES NOT LEAK. Get this flapper to save your water bill and your septic from unnecessary water usage!

I live in a water controlled mobile home park. They set the rate as high as the state will allow so I buy these in bulk so I am never without. Easy peasy swap out once I hear that toilet kick on without flushing I swap it out. It's so easy I've done it at 3 am.

Directions for adjusting are complicated and the process tedious. I opted to wing it instead and it seems to be working fine, which makes me think the "adjustable" feature is unnecessary. But I was able to switch it out easily enough and it stopped the leak, so I'm happy.

Make sure of the size needed to make the f lapper fit. if you get one to small or large you will ned to exchange for proper size. the reemoval from the tank was only hampered due to my fingers don't work as they used to but they do work enough to get it chained up. Remember to turn the waterr off before installing.

I recently had to replace the flapper on my toilet bowl. To be on the safe side, I bought this product and a fluidmaster just in case. It was a good thing that I did because it's impossible to rotate the band on this product. It is now in the garbage can . The dial rotates easy enough but the band is impossible.

The only thing ''ultra'' about this Korky is it is ''ultra'' frustrating! The instructions say to turn the top ring and bottom ring to line up the holes. The bottom ring impossible to turn, even with pliers, ended up having my son taking it apart to align the bottom ring. Unfortunately I bought 2 of these ridiculous flappers. I haven't installed them yet, I'm afraid. Will they work? Or will I have water all over the floor? I have used Korky for 45 years, never a problem, sometimes new and improved isn't better. Where do I go from here? Looking for easier/better flapper.
