Nice stain, good coverage and true to color

Love the color! Kind of a blue gray. As with any stain it's a bit to deal with but would still recommend.

Beautiful color and easy clean up

This wood stain is great. Varathane always does an excellent job with its colors—they're usually very close to what I expect on the first coat. It dries quickly, feels lighter than traditional oil-based stains, and cleanup is easy. It does have a noticeable chemical smell, but that's to be expected with most wood stains. Overall, it's easy to work with and delivers great-looking results.

I liked the color. Difficult for absorption on lightly sanded wood so took a few trials. sand wood well.

The color in the picture on the website is completely different than the picture on the can I received. the name was the same but the color was different

Not sure what's going on with this brand of stain, but I ordered two different ones that showed they were in the brown tone family and both were straight gray. Now this is yet another can I need to return to the store that again, arrived to me previously used. I'm guessing someone else had the same issue.
