I like to use shaved meats in different meals and most cuts from the stores are not think enough. This slicer allows me to shave meats paper think. It is so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. It comes with 2 blades that swap out with a single click. You can slice meats or cheeses or really anything you like at the exact thickness you desire.
My husband and I recently purchased this because we have srarted buying/cooking in bulk. He smoked a ham and we decided to slice it for sandwiches. It has adjustments for thickness for the blade and the slices come out perfectly! Durability is great too! I accidentally knocked ours off of the kitchen counter and it still works as it did when we took it out of the box, nothing broke (thank goodness) 10 out of 10!
This is a very good kitchen tool.I bought this slicer for a birthday gift. 10 plus ! A gift that is really liked. The product name says it all, FOHERE. Get it, for your home.. We will use the slicer to slice lunch meat ,at home. No more deli lunch meat needed.
Although it is fairly cheaply made, it works for what we need it to do. We bought it to slice some ham we had cooked previously, and we tested it out on some bologna we bought in bulk at the store. It worked well; we could adjust the thickness fairly easily. There were some obvious design flaws, but overall, it was worth the money we paid for it, and we are pleased with this purchase.
Have use this for a boneless ham - made easy work of 2 lbs and better quality ham that "Sliced ham" from Walmart and much less expensive. Won't buy sliced ever again. Also made easy work of a loaf of walnut rye bread using the smooth blade. Great bread, nice slices...
This slicer works, the blade is sharp and easily adjustable. However, it only has one speed, and the motor seems to struggle even when not cutting anything. Could be a one-off bad motor, or maybe the product just isn't that great. I'd go with a better quality kitchen brand if I need one in the future or for any more serious slicing.
This is a good machine for someone that does not need to use it often or for large projects. The manufacturer says to only use it for 10 minutes at a time otherwise it will over heat. Some sanitation issues as the slide is not removable and you cannot submerge the machine. The slide is also not flush with the blade so you cannot slice the last 3/4" of your food product. I have used it for bread and meat. You cannot cut a slab of bacon unless you want to cut it 1/2 first.
I used it to shred cabbage. Didn't have the blade speed needed. Kept getting clogged. Also, even with the “stabilizing” pads on feet, it would scoot around on counter top. I'm not satisfied, but it might work for something less substantial than cabbage. Clean up was tedious. Don't think I'll be using it again soon.
This slicer is inexpensive and said it would compact for easy storage! It does that. The issue is that it is of low quality for slicing. I bought a deli/type of lunch meat. It was complete loaf as sold to delis. I decided I would slice some of it first sandwiches. It was a disappointment to use. The base matching is some kind of plastic. It has blade set up but it is of poor cutting. This wouldn't cut very smoothly and it would tear in places. The slices were inconsistent sizes. The blade cut the meat if cut very slowly. It was on sale so it was cheap but I don't think I got even the money's worth. It is not good quality.
i got it and opened it up and it was broke all over didnt even take anything off and i was dented really bad so the same day i went to Walmart and returned it and got my money back and going to buy it else where once they sent it back to where it came from so i would not recommend buying it from Walmart.
