Freshest best tasting organic walnuts!

Margaret August 31, 2022

I seldom spend the time to write reviews but the people at Food to Live are amazing. These nuts are absolutely delicious. If you have not eaten a raw organic walnut before you will be blown away. This company is the best source I have been able find that offer raw organic products. Store bought nuts are pasteurized (baked at high temps) thus are all the enzymes and most of the nutrients gone. These nuts are like picking them right off the tree. You can taste and feel the difference. Keep up the great work!!

Superior product, competitive prices

Jan September 19, 2020

If you have tried to buy raw almonds, not to mention organic ones, at the supermarket lately, you are lucky to find them and the price can be exorbitant for a tiny bag, if you do. What a luxury to have a large bag of these fresh-tasting walnuts in our freezer to refill the jar on our counter whenever we need them! The price goes down as the bag size increases, so I bought lots. We eat them daily in salads, smoothies, and baked goods. Yum!

I love this brand of walnuts in comparison to a few others that I've purchased. They look and taste better than the other ones which I've eaten. I don't like walnut pieces, but rather intact walnut halves, and these are intact with the exception of one or two walnuts. The product arrived earlier than the projected delivery date, which was okay.

This was my second purchase and I already know that I will ordering again pretty soon. Those walnuts are good part of my daily diet and I love them. Fresh with this delicious taste that I remember from my childhood from the tree of my granparents. Thank you.

Took a chance and bought the organic walnuts, 7.5 lbs. Like others I have purchased walnuts in the past from Food to Live that have not been fresh and I complained. All the other nuts purchased from Food to Live have been very good. I'm happy to report that Food to Live has got its act together and the last shipment was very fresh, large pieces. Good job Food to Live! This may be a seasonal thing since I believe the walnut harvest in California takes place in October and November. I'm ordering more today.

Low in Protein but nutritious

Angel December 13, 2022

Very tasty my smoothie with dry organic mango cheeks from Food To Live including a few pieces of the Organic walnuts. I also add one green apple and nothing else. The sweetness of the mango cheeks is just enough. Even though the Walnuts are low in protein does not take away the great nourishment that anyone in my opinion, will benefit healthwise.

So far, so good.

They didn't smell stale, so, took out enuf for a week %26 put the rest in the freezer. We'll see. Overall, should be fine. Price'wise... riDICulous. Might have to try'n Plant One, %26 see if it takes root.

I ordered 5 lb bag of these walnuts and was happy when I received it. The halves and pieces are bigger than most other brands I tried. They also tasted good for the most part. The only reason I gave 4 star is because I believe these are pasteurized, which means I basically paid for dead walnuts. So won't be buying the walnuts again. I ordered some sunflower and pumpkin seeds; will see how that goes.
