These particular items are extremely overpriced even considering the quality of them. I found I didn't have any better garden end produce using these over making my own soil previously. The packaging is very attractive along with the reputation making sense of why the outrageous pricetag. I found using this product myself to have had no better plant growth nor harvest than I've had using less expensive competitors. I would not recommend this product for thiss specific reasons

I purchased FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting mix because of its nutrient profile and texture. It contains earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion and crab meal. This soil's mix of aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss and sandy loam is perfect for my containers. This mix drains well. Drainage is important when growing vegetables like lettuce in containers. All that being said, this mix isn't the cheapest on the market. However, I put a lot of time and effort into my garden. In my opinion, FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting soil is well worth the money.

Always a great experience with this product. have been using it off and on for a decade. I used this for starting my veg and herbs this season. May be a little to "hot" for that. Works great for established plants.
