I recently had a knee replacement, and I needed some topsoil and grass. I/m unable to drive and this was the perfect answer to get some topsoil and grass seed to put down. The delivery driver left the items at my front door. Please thank him or her for me.

ive spent so much trying to get my grass to grow and the dozen of diffrent type of seeds never even sprouted but this one did! spread and water and itll sprout in 4-5 days (i prepered the soil before hand for maximum effectiveness). after 2 weeks later and the roots dig deep! 10/10 recommend

Grass seed is outrageously expensive but this is a great value for what you get it germinates quickly. It fills in fast and it looks fantastic. I usually use it for over seating every year and I'm very happy with how it makes my lawn look.

I have been using this grass seed for years. It germinates faster than the leading brand and grows very thick. It does die off in the winter and goes dormant but around late April or May when the rains stop and days get warmer, it wakes up and starts growing again. I have to reseed to fill in bare spots. But once that start growing I have a nice thick lawn again.

I've use this to repair dead patches in the lawn and it's economical. Mix with some soil, shredded paper, and bone meal in a large pan, wet it, and set it outside or in a lighted area. It germinates within a few days. Once they grow several inches, I fill it into the dead spots.. This works better than throwing the seeds directly into the lawn for the birds to feast on it. At first, the grass is lighter than my current lawn, but it seems to darkens over time.

Since web site fails to disclose the ingredients, I have included a picture of the contents label on the actual bag. 50% of the weight is "Coating Material." This is a moisture-wicking layer to help seeds germinate, but it means only about half the bag is actual seed. As summarized below, the majority of seed is ryegrass, but it also contains other varieties to support a permanent lawn. * Kentucky Bluegrass (5%) %26 Chewings Fescue (5%): These are high-quality, permanent grasses. Bluegrass is great for sun and "self-healing" bare spots, while Chewings Fescue is excellent for shade tolerance. * Perennial Ryegrass (13%): A much higher percentage of permanent ryegrass compared to the "Kwik" mix. This gives you a fast-growing but long-lasting green. * Annual Ryegrass (18%): They still include this for that "instant gratification" green, but it's only about a third of the total seed mix here, rather than the vast majority. * Festulolium (5%): Again, a hardy hybrid for durability.

They dont grow as easily as they advertise. But I needed no fertilizer added for my dogs safety. Not bad, good amount in the bag. My grass is better then it was.

Did not have success with this seed. Did all the right things and barely had anything come up! What did come up was fine tiny little blades of grass. Not what I was hoping for!

It hasn't sprouted at all. The entire bag (which looks like green rice) placed evenly in prepared yard water as directed, almost two weeks not one sprout.

The grass never grew. it started to and then fizzled out. Waste of my time watering every day!! I continue to have bare spots. I will try again in the fall as it is too hot now for the grass to germinate and grow.
