The dealership I get my car serviced at did a whatever point inspection and wanted to charge me $50 to change this. It comes with instructions for installation and only costs $14. It took me all of 3 minutes to do. Same quality as factory. Don't buy the cheap ones you can find on ebay, they are not the same.
Changed in my toyota corolla 2010, had 60,000, never was changed. iI could tell a huge difference in scent, had a moldy type before, and now very fresh. Took less than 5 mins. Check youtube before installation. No tools needed.
Product matched description on web page and was available at a reasonable price.
I always trust Fram. Fit perfectly. First time the dealer charged $25 for the filter and $30 to install it. It takes about five munites to install.
good price and good option and filters
If you consider how much the dealer charges for a cabin filter, this one turns out to be a bargain. Installation on the Prius was a snap. I saved over $50.00 doing this myself.
Fram products are consistently great products and have never failed on quality. Purchasing this on Walmart.com was flawless! I was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy it was. They have made vast improvements on their online store!!!
Less expensive than the OEM version and contains charcoal for improved oder removal. Good deal!
I was chasing down the common mildew, dirty gym socks smell from my a/c system and thought the carbon in this filter, which is labeled on the box as reducing odors, might take it out. No such luck. Auto parts stores' regular filters cost less. The fix for the stinky a/c turns out to be a very generous application of Lysol Disinfectant Spray or the cheaper Walmart equivalent sprayed into the hvac system intake(s) at the base of the windshield. Raise the hood to access and spray into the inlets with the a/c system on including compressor, highest blower speed, outside air, face outlets. Compressor is on because you want the evaporator's cold temp to condense the spray on it. Repeat procedure with max heat selected, also outside air, but compressor off. Now put down a thick towel on the passenger floor, switch to max a/c again but RECIRC and spray into the air intake (feel for the airflow) in the passenger's foot well. Wipe any liquid off the intake and run the system on the current setting for a long time to make sure no Lysol remains liquid to drip on your carpet. Keep the towel under the passenger's foot well under the intake for a few days. There are special "coil cleaners" if you want to try to remove the dirt that is on the evaporator, but access to the evaporator can be daunting on some cars. On my Lexus everything aft of the firewall must come out. Yikes!
you gave me the wrong filter i got one for a toyota abd ordered a buick encore
