The quality standard for filters.
Fram produces a product that exceeds all industry standards. This is a high end filter in all aspects; no production shortcuts. Great construction techniques allow for easy installation even in hard to get to locations.

WORKS FINE.
IT SEEMS TO DO THE JOB. IT HAS STOPPED DIRT %26 DEBRIS FROM ENTERING THE SYSTEM.

Is Fram cheap?
I replaced with the exact same air filter and I found it very interesting that the new one has about half as many pleats as the last one . The old was made in Korea, the new one was made in China. Im not sure which one is better but the new one certainly used much less material so Im thinking its kind of cheesy.

Not recommended for purchase
I think it might be a knockoff product. The workmanship is very poor. You can tell how bad it is by comparing it to the one I bought at Canadian Tire.It wasn't even glued properly around the edges.I returned it.
