I recently added this cleansing balm to my night time routine, it is rralky good to remove all the dirt, melting all the makeup off leaving no residue. It feels so gentle on the skin, easy to apply and rinse off, it leaves my skin clean, soft and moisturized. I highly recommend it for dry skin. I like the list of ingredients, so beneficial to have a healthier skin.
My 20 yr old daughter was happy to try the Makeup Remover + Cleansing Balm. She said that it looked like coconut oil and it smelled like coconut oil, so she was expecting it to act like coconut oil, which she had used to remove makeup in the past with moderate results. She said that this product worked much better, and even did a little test (see photo & following description): "I put a base of concealer on my arm, then put a test strip of Super Stay liquid lipstick, eye shadow, and eyeliner. After a little effort, they all washed away easily. When I try to remove that lipstick with coconut oil, it takes a lot of scrubbing and I usually don't get it all off. I was pleasantly surprised when the remover rinsed off with water. I expected it to act like an oil, but it washed right off, leaving now residue. It's not as effective as some makeup removers I've tried, but it's not bad at all."
I love this product so far. It does an amazing job cleaning my face. My face feels so soft afterwards, it's almost like moisturizing and cleansing all-in-one step. I love that it doesn't have any overwhelming fragrance. It's a great product to add into a beauty routine.
The Freeman Makeup Remover and Cleansing Balm has a vaseline-like but lightweight texture that creates a smooth applicate to the skin that leaves the skin feeling soft after washing it off with it a damp cloth. The scent itself is light and really removes any leftover makeup as well while keeping the skin moist and not drying out afterward.
I had the opportunity to utilize Makeup Remover + Cleansing Balm by Freeman over the course of several weeks during my evening routine. As someone who is always looking to remove my foundation and mascara with the least harsh chemicals, I absolutely love this product for removal! Because this makeup remover utilizes coconut oil, my makeup is removed quickly and gently, and my skin left feeling soft and nourished from the vitamin E. I find this makeup remover to work super effectively and quick, and it is now a must have in my makeup arsenal! With a buttery soft texture that makes for easy application and removal, Freeman is a new favorite brand here!
My daughter is very into make up and wants to be a make up artist. So obviously she washes her face a lot. She has lots of acne as well. She said that this make up remover and cleaning balm is one of the best she has used. It was light and refreshing. She also liked the smell. The size of the container is perfect to use while traveling. We will definitely be buying more in the near future.
This Freeman product removes makeup and cleans your face at the same time! Be sure you start with a dry face. It also says to start with a clean face, but since it's a cleaning product, I started with a dry face with makeup on. As I was putting it onto my face it looked like moisturizer, but then it got oily and liquid like with a slippery feel. It was not drying or stinging at all. I used just my fingers, no washcloth and it took of the makeup with ease. I massaged it onto my face. I didn't use it near my eyes. After patting my face dry, it was clean and not red or irritated at all, no flakes either. It felt like I didn't really need my moisturizer, my skin felt plump. I think that was the coconut oil providing the moisture. It also has vitamin E to help with puffiness if you have that problem. The Glycerin makes a barrier on your skin to keep it moist. The scent was not overpowering. I used a very small amount to clean my face, but I wish the container was larger. Overall it's a pretty good dual product cleaner and makeup remover!
The Freeman Makeup Remover + Cleansing Balm was effective at removing makeup. Pleasant scent. Contains coconut oil and vitamin E. The fatty acids protect skin. The glycerin supports skins natural barrier. A pH buffer promotes balanced skin. Cleanses skin without over-drying. Looks like a thick whitish cream, but turns to oil while massaging into skin. Safe for sensitive skin. Cruelty free. The cons... Directions state to use on clean dry skin. That seemed odd to me since the product is marketed as a facial cleanser. The container size is only 1.4 ounces. It lasted about 7-10 uses. I probably won't use this product again...it wasn't cost effective for me. It is a decent quality product, so I will recommend it. Give it a try, you might love it.
This makeup remover & cleansing balm comes in a container and the balm looks just as a balm would look - it feels like wax and it smells like coconut. This product seems to work well and it does take off my makeup easily; but I myself do not necessarily care for that oily feel. My skin does feel better and more moisturized the next day after use, so this is something I may have to get used to using. The main features: fatty acids protect skin against environmental damage, glycerin supports skin's natural barrier, pH buffer promotes balanced skin. I will definitely continue to use this product, I will just try my best to avoid getting it into my eyes.
When I opened this cleansing balm I was surprised that it was such a small size of 1.4oz. The box was almost double the size of the container because it was sitting on a raised cardboard shelf so that it would look like it was much bigger than the actual size. It did have some coconut oil, but only as the second to the last in a list of ingredients that were not natural at all and it was not very creamy when applied. It even shows "avoid contact with eyes" and "discontinue use if irritation occurs" on the back of the box which surprised me. It stung my eyes because in reality, how can you use a makeup remover that can't get near your eyes? I would prefer to have one remover that I can use on both my face and eye makeup. This was not a good product for me and I would not recommend it.
