FreeStyle Lite Blood Glucose Monitoring System

I use the dexcom g7 but need to finger stick to check accuracy. The freestyle lite I had since diagnosis in December of 2009 just quit working. Ordered this one this morning and was delivered this evening. Put a new dexcom g7 in this morning but wasn't able to check accuracy until I received the new freestyle lite. Dexcom said I was 90, did a blood finger stick with the freestyle lite to find out I had a low of 50! So glad it came when it did and was able to drink something to raise my blood sugar. Happy with purchase and Walmart for getting it to me so fast.

i like that it comes with needle pen and extra needles. i was surprise when i saw the needle pen inside the box. it 9nly show the glucose machine. good price for machine and needle pen.

This kit had the meter and the sample of lancets only. No test strips were included as a sample so I could not test the meter until going to a store and buying the strips before being able to do so. The ship-to-store service is wonderful, however, and it assures you will get the item you want or need without going to the store and finding the shelf empty, which has happened to me/us more than once. I will recoommend this to friends and family but warn them to buy some sample test sstrips at the same time since you cannot test the meter without them.

I love this monitor, I buy at least one every 2-3 years. It is better than trying to change the battery, it is cheaper than buying batteries

i just ordered the strips, got the kit, and got a message saying they were having difficulty w/my card. i want the yearly delivery, my free trial for 30 days, will be up , cant get in to check my card what do i do?

This product has no test strips included so I never got to use it. If you are trying different monitors to see which is best for you do not buy this one as it is unusable without the test strips.

arrived totally sealed up but missing the ten complimentary text strips. Could not use until I put based a pricey box of 50

This glucometer contains zero test strips. Not one, rendering it completely useless. The test strips required are $168 for 100 strips so over a dollar per test. It does not imply this anywhere in the description. I just wasted 17$ and of course cannot return it because of Walmarts policy with diabetes supplies. There are comparably priced glucometers that come with 50-100 test strips, go with one of those.

I still have not received it. I called all day yesterday and all day I've been calling and I still haven't had a response service for answering phone calls is horrible and I need these strips for my own house.
