These are legit. Just wish they came with more in the pack for the money. I ended up using them with pads so I could keep wearing the same pair because none of my normal underwear fit immediately postpartum. I also didn't feel like they seemed that absorbent but then again I didn't wear them without pads. Definitely glad I got them as first time momma, they were way more comfortable than generic brands from the store but it is hard to pay so much for them.
This is a lifesaver. Grab the ones from the hospital if you can but these box shorts from Frida fit snug and keep the multiple perineal healing layers secure without leaks. I used it for two weeks postpartum. The snug band supports the belly after the delivery.
The absolute best postpartum shorts/underwear. Pads fit great on them and they last the entire day with no leakage and no issues. Super comfortable. Can wear around the house with or without pants or shorts over. Absolutely love these and wore them everyday for the first 2 weeks postpartum!
I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy and didn't want to risk ruining underwear. I also had stitches on my abdomen so I need soft non-friction clothing. The swelling / bloating is a whole other story. These were perfect!! I wore a pad so I'm not able to verify absorption quality. 100% recommendations from me.
Purchased these for my daugher who had just had a baby. She loves them and says they feel as close to real panties as possible! I ordered yesterday and they arrived today! She says they do not chaff or rub her skin like the hospital-issued fish-net underwear.
Got the petite as I am small, they're very comfortable. I had liners so used them for the whole day then changed them. Would be expensive if switched and threw away each bathroom visit like the hospital ones /nurses say
Wore these during postpartum after having a c-section. They were super comfortable and came up high enough so that it didn't press on my scar. I absolutely loved wearing them. You do have to wear a pad/liner with them as well.
used this to focus on baby %26 less washing. %26 used it while my body was shrinking back and was in a not XL but not L size range , i wanted to be comfortable. buy a pack and see if they work for you.
These are a step up from what you get from the hospital for sure and feel a lot more secure on the waist and bottom area and I didn't have to worry about leaks postpartum cause they could go in the trash but I was putting pads in them they aren't good for replacing the pads they become thin and I wouldn't wear them with out a cotton pad of some sort. So they aren't bad but almost something you don't need if the hospital supplies something similar to go home with.
First, let me say.. I LOVE Frida Mom products. This is truly the first time for a negative review. These are advertised for C-Section. I have no idea why because they're awful compared to the regular boy shorts. This is my 3rd baby by c section, and I always used to buy the boy shorts. Just stick with those! They're perfect.. c section or not. I'm not sure why Frida Mom came out with these and messed them up when the others worked just fine for both! I guess if you're smaller and like the fit of the briefs better then they may work for you. For me, they cut off my legs in the thigh area, and they barely went over my butt and my belly. The boy shorts fit much better and felt more secure and comfortable.
