Frigidaire - 250 Sq. Ft 6,000 Cooling BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner - White

Im giving Walmart 5 stars for speedy delivery. It arrived the day after I ordered it and shipping was free. The unit itself is attractive (as far as window ac units go). The remote is small and super slim so wont hog space on my nightstand. Seems to be working well as far as cooling the room.

At first sight out of the box I thought oh man, this is too small to cool my very large open space; living room and dining room. This is a pre-war apt. with 9 foot ceilings. I wasn't convinced after my husband and son installed it in the window. I even checked the unit itself to see if it was really a 12,000 BTU, it was. In fact, I said to my husband, it's going back! But after the first 2 nights, I was sold. It DOES cool enough, and it went a little further into my bedroom, and even a bit into the kitchen. I couldn't believe it! I was standing a little ways into my kitchen, which is off the dining area, with a wall no less, and I was feeling it on my legs. I never felt that with my old LG ac. Sometimes we even have to turn it off for a bit, cause the family gets cold, while watching TV. So I have to say I'm convinced this IS a really good AC, and of course Frigidaire is a really good brand. I should've known anyway, I have a Frigidaire refrigerator 14 years and still going strong. Yes, I would definitely recommend this AC.

This AC works great! The air blows very cold and it's not excessively noisy. Haven't tried the Wi-Fi yet, so I'm not sure how well that feature works. It arrived in excellent condition with no shipping damage or scratches. The only problem was that one of the plastic parts was bent (obviously before it was packaged), but I was able to straighten it out.

I was worried this ac might not be enough to cool my living room cause it gets extremely hot in the living room. Very glad i made this purchase, blows really cold and keeps living room cold, does a way better job then my portable 8k btu ac did. Ac came delivered banged up though, was clearly dropped. Side was dented and fan blades were dent a little but that was clearly the work of bad shipment

I love this AC. It is a makes a little more noise than I thought but it cools my entire house. I love the settings and control features. It was scheduled to arrive on last Monday but came earlier on Friday . Easy to install. And the price is excellent.

Only 2 days since install but it works great. It's simple to operate . I have not tried wifi yet and probably won't ever use it. Install was typical as with many other units. I notice a few complaints about noise. Mine is pretty quiet for a window unit. It's quieter than my GE 6000 btu in the bedroom. I used a Db meter app to measure noise. You can see the graph in the picture. I started off 12 feet away at my desk and moved to about 3 feet away. The unit was 40 bucks cheaper than all competitors. I used the difference to buy a 3 year warranty, Walmart also has much faster delivery on Ac's , also free. Ordered Wed night and got here friday afternoon.

Installation was easy and the unit itself was pretty compact, measuring around 23 inches wide. The 12000 BTU was noticeably more powerful than our 10000 btu of the same brand.

The filter light stays on constantly even though the filter is completely clean. This seems to be a problem with many brands of window air conditioners. I bought this Frigidaire for a bedroom after previously buying an LG for another bedroom. Both a/c's work great, yet both have the same problem with the filter light. Took off one star for the light.

highly disappointed, purchased this air conditioner for almost 300.00 to have it arrive with a huge dent! Like "how did they not see this prior to shipping?" So I can't return to store but I can get it shipped back and wait for a new one? Besides, that I could barely get it in my house because its huge! Walmart just lost me as a very dedicated customer.

Received damaged item. The box was damaged when shipped, once I took the AC out I found the plug for the wall outlet was missing the ground and extremely bent. Therefore I could not plug it in and use it. I contacted Walmart to return the item and they said it would have to be done through the seller and they put in for the seller to contact me within 48 hours via email. I never received an email from them. Still waiting to make this return.
