Frigidaire 5.0 Cu. ft. Garage Ready Chest Freezer, Compact Deep Freezer for Garage, Kitchen, Apartment, White

This is a great value chest freezer, highly recommended. Runs very efficiently (uses very little electricity, about $35 for all year use) and also runs very quietly, you cannot hear it running. I put the temp. dial at 3 3/4 mark and it it keeps this freezer exactly at the recommended 0 (zero) degrees. Just perfect. So far it has been a wonderful freezer. It was priced a lot lower then the nearby large appliance stores and another big savings is that all these stores charged delivery fees (about $60) while Walmart delivered it for free. I also like its large 7 cu. ft. size, which takes a lot of food, very useful. I also like the Frigidaire brand. I also like the front 2 lights which show green for Power and blue when cooling (running), so I know what is going on, helpful and informative. Everything about this order was just right and perfect.

Let me start by saying that I think this is a quality made product. Freezer arrived packaged very well. After unpacking, I inspected the exterior of the freezer and seen that there is a small dent in the back, right corner of the lid. I was hoping it would arrive with no flaws. I haven’t ran the freezer because I am letting it sit for 24hrs. before allowing it to cool down. I can’t speak for how well it works yet. Other than the small dent, I think it’s a very nice, compact freezer. I would recommend. The price was excellent along with really fast, free shipping.

If you order this, be sure to check the box for dings before the delivery person leaves. I was hesitant to order this after seeing all the complaints about receiving damaged units, but figured that those were the exceptions. So I ordered it. The freezer arrived on time, and the box appeared ok, except for a small ding about a foot up from the bottom. When I unboxed the freezer, I discovered the right front corner was dented, right where the box was dinged. It won’t affect how the freezer works, but when you buy something new, you don’t expect it to be damaged.

freezer quit working around 15 days after my warranty. Food thawed. bought another as quickly as possible to save what I could. The freezer I replaced I bought at Walmart, because that was all I could afford. would not recommend but understand that if that's all a person can afford.

Freezer was delivered damaged. The rear back left corner is smashed in, and there are multiple dents on the front. I saw several reviews of others that also had damaged freezers delivered, but figured I would take my chances. I am trying to presently see if I can exchange it, but there may be specific limits with this item. Buyer beware.

The unit is very nice - large enough . Seems to be cooling fine for now but I suspect with the damage it received during delivery - it may not last. Unit not just dented but punctured. Walmart willing to pick up but could not replace the item for 7 days after picking up the unit - which would have left me without a freezer . Hesitant and not confident with product

Product was damaged. Compressor was making a loud sound and the freezer arrived with lots of dents. Please be advised that Walmart's policy is only 2 day return for this item! Also, even if you are a Walmart member, the only return option is for you to haul this very heavy and bulky freezer to your nearest Walmart. I thought I could return it and Fedex would pick up but that is not an option even after I contacted customer service. I wish I knew this so I am warning you now.

I read the reviews and hoped I'd receive a chest freezer that was not damaged. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The freezer has multiple dents in it and the front left corner is crushed. It is cut all the way through to the inside of the freezer. The box it came in was not damaged! Returns on something this large are not easy. I'm going to push myself to go through the major hassle to get this returned and will NOT be ordering another one from Walmart. Totally NOT worth it!

I received my order and noticed multiple cosmetic defects on several surfaces of the product. I purchased this item because it was on sale, and the listing did not mention any cosmetic issues. If I had known about the damage, I would not have purchased it.

This product is damaged , I spoke to a Walmart representative regarding this item.. they said they would put in report to manufacturer.. if no response in 48 hours.. Walmart would address this for me.. believe that some sort of compensation is deserved.
