Frigidaire FFRA051WA1 5000 BTU Window-Mounted Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire has always been my ‘go to' appliance brand , and at the time of this writing, I'm 78 years of age. Growing up we always had a Frigidaire in the kitchen. Only two, which lasted throughout parents marriage. The fridge then was tiny with a center hung freezer which could hold two ice trays and maybe a bag frozen peas and a pint of ice cream. But back then, our tv set had rabbit ears and a screen size of around 4 inches. There could be a photo of that small fridge in the dictionary right next to the word dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this window AC unit, it's super quiet and the temp is super cold, I love how there are so many options on it and I like how it sits low on the window seal so we don't lose our view. Highly recommend!!

I especially like the simple knob controls; they make it very simple to operate. The fan diverter also helps put the cool air just where I want it. Easy to install.

Impeccably packaged to prevent dents or water damage. Small but mighty little Window A/C unit. Bought to replace an identical model which was 5.5 years old and still working, but which looked awful being out in the unforgiving S. FL sun and sea air. It has been cycling on and off and pumping cold air (never switched off) for all that time. So, of course I wanted to buy the same product again!

I've only had this in for a day but it is great! I have it on low cool and it cools down my small bedroom to the point of being almost freezing (which I like). In this horrible weather we're having here on the east coast, with ridiculous humidity for days, this little machine is keeping my room cold and dry. No leaking so far (which was a huge problem with my last ac). The only negative thing I'd say is it's rather noisy on high cool, but as I'm keeping it on low it's not a huge problem. It does gather up a bit of condensation on high also, but again, it can stay on cool and keep a small room nice and cold.

We had to find a new window air conditioner after our very old and 2nd hand one stopped working. The window a new a/c needed to be installed into was small, so there were very few choices online that would fit. To my sursprise, this one was the same model that we had to replace! Lighter in weight made for easier install. The new one doesn't drip everywhere, and the price was excellent. Our house is small (just over 1000 sq ft) with only a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs where the is installed, and that is the only space we wanted to cool and dehumidify. To our surprise, and comfort, the entire house is cooler and drier! Very happy with this small but mighty model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new Frigidaire units that I have recently purchased. But the filter is extremely hard to pull out. And and one of the units seems to have some damage on the back vents. I also see that the filter got torn when I pushed it back in.

Placed an order online and it was available for pickup in two days. Unit is compact but powerful. Helps s lot when the temperature climbs to 32°C or more. Room is cooler and comfortable. Presettings let's me just turn on and it cools room quickly. Not too noisy either compared to some other units I've seen. I would recommend this to a friend

Don't do business with this 3rd party company!!

I would give a -10 if I could. I ordered this making sure if I had to return it I could. Well when ii returned it they gave me some bogus company that doesn't exist and they told us we had to ship it back. Under returns it says returnable to Walmart stores.
