A great addition to our kitchen. We aren't able to connect a water line to our fridge easily and our city water isn't great anyway. So we add distilled water to the until and it makes great tasting clean ice! You do have to clean it once in a while but that's an easy trade for its service! I do wish the “black” ice maker was more black and less grey colored. I thought I got the wrong color when I first opened it, but it fits in my kitchen well enough.

I'm glad I purchased the 44 pound option.Instead of the thirty three or twenty six pound option. The features are great. There's a great pull out drawer on the top where you put the water in, so you don't have to pull the hole unit out to put water in the ice Maker, which is awesome.It goes in the water tank and then goes down into the system.So you're not pouring water over ice or having to remove a bucket period. The ice draw itself holds a ton of ice.. I'm going to stop using my refrigerator ice Maker.Because it's 20 years old and I'm using filtered water and ice taste awesome.It holds about 4 pounds of ice in the ice holder.After the nugget ice is made so I'll transfer that to my ice bucket from my other ice Maker.So I can have continuous.Ice all the time.

I love this ice maker and would definitely buy this again if mine ever didn’t work anymore. The ice is soft enough to chew but also hard enough to keep my drinks cold in my hydroflask. I like that you can turn it on and off for when you don’t want to make ice and that it has easy self cleaning and clear instructions on how to use it and care for it. Definitely read the instructions first, that way it will last you longer. This was worth every penny and makes a lot of ice.

I got this on a whim because most chip ice makers you see are over $700.00. I did not think that it was going to be this nice. I am beyond happy with the purchase and I love that when the ice melts it automatically restarts making ice. The only odd thing I find is that the shovel it comes with does not have a designated holder. The other thing that is odd to me is that it suggests cleaning it with bleach monthly. I don’t think I am going to do that, I will probably just clean it with soap and water, I don’t want to be tasting bleach going forward. The only thing I hate about it is that I ordered black, and black is not black. It is grey. So if you are planning on trying to match your kitchen area, it’s not worth trying. I was disappointed when I opened the box, I thought they sent me the wrong one.

i like the ice machine itself however i was given the wrong color. you can see for yourself that the device is certainly not black. But quality of the ice maker is whats important for the rest of you and it started making a decent yield of ice within 20 minutes. its sturdy and the self cleaning mode should be a big help.

Buyer Beware. Stopped working after 3 months. Frigidaire will not honor warranty because WalMart used a third party to sell (unbeknownst to me). Neither WalMart nor the third party will offer a refund or replacement and were less than customer-friendly in their responses. Shameful all around. Third party is CA Electroixc LLC “Returns or replacement in 30 days just like any other purchase at a store. If you damaged the item you will have to get it fixed or replaced. You had the item and used the item for months. Sorry for the inconvenience as you were sold a brand new working item.”

First off this unit was replacing my GE opal that was great for years.. Worked great for 9 month's before it just quit making ice all together. ( started to make less and less ice the month before and the power light no longer functions) After 3 weeks of emails Curtis is telling me to send it to them on my dime. Is going to cost me 1/4 the price of the machine to send it to the west coast from the northeast. Do not buy

This machine had a black grease on the bag it was packed in. However I didn't see anything coming the machine, so I assumed it was fine. Well I didn't even have it a week, and it started making a whining noise like it is literally dying. I'm so disappointed. I have a small crushed ice maker for about a year now, with zero issues. I just wanted something that made a larger quantity.

So I bought this ice maker march 3rd 2025 by July 1,2025 the ice maker was leaking because of an issue where this listing and the item I recieved is off by one number the company is giving me the run around to replace the item save the hassle buy a different machine they take forever to email back first issue they had was I sent a photo with the corner missing now supposedly it's the serial number

This is the second Frigidaire ice machine I have bought in less than 6 months. We are not even a week in and this ice machine is already making sounds like the devil is in my kitchen. Pros: It produces a great consistency/hardness of ice The water camber is massive 1 gallon The ice camber can hold a ton of ice It make ice fast Cons: Poor quality boarding fraud It is LOUD Couple days in and it’s making funny noises just like its previous counterpart did right before it died Customer support/service is non existent and to use them you have to pay 80 ship it to them. They make it so painful so you end up giving up. This brand has one of the lowest approval rates by consumer reports and affairs Junk it’s junk! The only way I would say yes buy it is if it was less than a Benjamin. Just stay away from this beast it Will drive you mad!
