This ice maker makes perfect round ice cubes that look awesome and melt slowly so my drinks stay cold and don't get quickly diluted. It is easy to use and fits perfectly on my countertop. The ice maker is also surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus. If you are looking for a reliable and efficient way to make ice, this product is great. I am super happy with it.
I got this as a gift for my dad and he loves it. It is a little noisy, but not intolerably so. It might startle you when it "drops it's balls" as he says, because it makes a pretty abrupt drop sound but it works great, makes spherical ice as expected, and is pretty easy to operate.
This was a costly purchase, but worth it! The machine is easy to use and the spherical ice is the best. The only upgrade I made was to put it on a low turntable/Lazy Susan (that I constructed!) to enable the ease of turning it around to drain the unused water from the back. Luckily, my turntable was low enough that the machine still fit (barely) under the kitchen cabinet.
This ice maker has a generous shape and excellent ice-making effect. It is very good for those of us who like family gatherings! It can make ice cubes needed by multiple people in a short time. Unlike a refrigerator, it is not enough for two or three people.
I bought this at a good price, not the lowest because it went down but definitely a good price. Ice maker makes great sphere ice! It does take a long time, a lot longer than other ice makers (this is our 3rd) but the sphere ice is cool/different and seems to last longer than the nugget or clear ice from the other machines. Love it for my bourbon, mixed drinks or really anything you want to drink cold. Again either save and freeze extra ice or don't expect to have ice quickly.
Works really well and looks sleek. I store it in a cabinet and take it out when I'm having a party or just need to “restock” on ice spheres. It makes them quick enough that you can just get it out for a day to stock up for weeks worth of ice (as a single guy). It's a nice touch when the boys come over for poker night.
I love this sphere ice maker—it's a total game-changer for drinks on the rocks. The large spheres melt much slower than cubes, so my whiskey stays cold without getting watered down. It's way faster and more convenient than messing with silicone molds. Two quick tips for the best results: Use Distilled Water: If you want that crystal-clear, "glass-like" look, skip the tap water. It makes a huge difference in clarity. Transfer to the Freezer: Since the storage bin isn't refrigerated, the ice will eventually melt. I move my spheres into a freezer bag once they're done so I always have a fresh stash ready to go!
The balls are very small and melt quickly before the ice chamber can fill. Have to immediately remove and put in a freezer and even then the balls are small and melt quickly.
the water storage is so small you have to fill 2 to 3 times aday. it really doesnt make that many spheres. if it had bigger storage for water it be like the crushed machine. then the 1 liter storage would help
Have been using this ice machine since 5/16/25. Yesterday, 12/10/25, it just quit working. It's just making noise. My husband made sure it had water, cleaned it and checked to make sure that no hoses were clogged, then unplugged it and plugged it back in, but still nothing. Will be checking into warranty.
