I was going to say the draft blocker part was hard to justify but as I said that a gust of wind came in and it was kept within the cover. As far as dust out of the vents it is great! The material is thicker so I'm not sure why people said it's too thin to do anything. This would probably block out drafts if you don't use the extenders to make the AC fit in the window. I would purchase this again if I didn't have the extenders in my unit!

These are pretty at straight forwards to use. I'm definitely going to look into getting a few more. Try these out!!!

so I do recommend despite the 3 star for review due to the fact that it is nice sturdy material for covering the window AC unit when it not on...I however thought that the description said that it was for preventing dust and dirt from getting into the AC so I feel like so dumb by the wording and I bought it so now it useless to me...really thought it was nice little mesh material where it filters the dust, pet fur, and dirt so it not enter the AC as much...I saddened that it not as it would be more helpful if it actually did that

It's made of a thicker plastic, has elastic to secure in place. It's not the most attractive thing, but it does it's job and is not too expensive.
