FunkAway Odor Eliminating Beads, Supercharged Odor Absorbing Beads, 12 oz

I placed the funkaway product in the shelf with all of our shoes in the mudroom. It has kept most of our funky smells at bay. Product was easy to open, the gel beads in there are cute and remind me of the kids orbeads, that being said...keep in a shelf away from kids.

This is one of my favorite room deodorizers. The beads have a very strong but not overpowering scent. I absolutely love these. Because they have a nice look, I can leave them out in the open or I can put them in places where people cannot see them. They last for weeks And since they do have a cover that looks more like a vent I don't have to worry about them getting knocked over and spilling all over. I still would never put them Where younger children could get their hands on them. I do however have them in my teenage sons room. It smells much better now.

It really does soak up bad smells. We moved into an old house that had a funky smell in one of the rooms & this completely absorbed whatever that bad smell was. I shook product occasionally like directions said. I highly recommend for people that smoke in their homes or have any unpleasant smells. I have a favorite scent of the plug in things that I absolutely love but I also realize that those & sprays really are just masking or temporarily covering up bad smells. FYI, If you don't see a seal to remove when you twist off the lid, it's probably stuck in the lid like mine was as seen in my photo. It will come out easily though.

I am very pleased with the Funk Away beads. They smell good, kind of like dryer sheets or fabric softener. But not as potent. We have a mother in-law house that we are fixing up and it was very dirty and musty when we bought it. We started cleaning and put these beads out there and now it's like a brand new house. No musty smell and I just go out every couple days and give the jar a little shake. These are amazing!

FunkAway Odor Eliminating Beads The 12 ounce jar measures 3 ½” tall x 3 ½” wide The lid is vented with 1/8” wide slatted spaces on top of the lid. Under the lid is a blue paper - like a thin foam-type paper. The instructions say to remove the paper and return the lid to the jar. Follow the safety guidelines printed on the jar to place the jar wherever the need for odor removal exists. The color of the translucent beads are clear and blue and green. The circular liquid filled beads measure ½” wide. The instructions say the beads last up to 90 days and shrink with time and use. I tried FunkAway Odor eliminating jar in the unfinished part of the basement. There was one particular corner whose odor was more like a skunk had sprayed nearby the house on the outside of this particular wall. After placing the jar on the top shelf to the storage shelves, I waited two days to see if the scent dissipated. Two days later – no smell at all. No musty, no smell of outdoors, just the regular smell the concrete unfinished room has always had. FunkAway Odor eliminating beads works great! FunkAway would make a thoughtful and useful gift! My mother-in-law would love a jar to put in her storage shed and by the trash areas.

The smell is good but it doesn't keep the smell of cigarettes away but it's brought it down a whole lot!! I had to put it right under the sink which is where the smell was coming in to our apartment from and it killed it a whole bunch so thank you!

I have a new rescue puppy and was looking for something to help take the odor away from the puppy pads. These worked so much better than I expected. Not only are they pretty to look at but they do help absorb nasty odors, this are a must have! Just don't put it on any surface without something underneath it. If it gets tipped over the beads do leak, but that's to be expected. I will be adding more of these in the house and office.

FunkAway odor eliminating beads smell very strong when you take the lid off. I could smell them very well for the first couple of days then it became very faint. I had just placed them in our kitchen but I think the best spot would be in a room where you truly want to eliminate an odor. I've now placed them in a bathroom that contains a litter box with hopes that it will help with the odor from a cat box. I do think it helps to shake the container up a little bit to move around the beads if you think about it. There may be a slight improvement but I don't notice an overpowering scent of the beads. I will see long term if it helps, it definitely can't hurt to have them out!

My cats are on a special diet and it makes their poo smell awful. I keep their litter boxes in the lower level bathroom next to my office and even though I scoop right away the house still reeks of cat poo for a while. So I was excited to try Funk Away which claims to stop odors in the air and neutralize them. I opened the jar and removed the top and set it back down and walked out of the bathroom and into my home office. Within a few minutes I smelled a very strong scent along with the cat poo scent. I can't say that it neutralized the cat poo scent even after I scooped but it certainly overpowered it. After a few weeks I just got used to this strong scent but it doesn't neutralize the cat poo smell when my cats use the litter box. If you are sensitive to smells I don't think you'll like this as it is a really strong scent. Not unpleasant, just strong. On the up side I really like the way it looks. The scent beads look just like Orbeez (if you have a kid you know what I mean). They are blue, green and clear. So the jar of FunkAway at least looks nice in the bathroom.

First of all let me say that when I received this product in the mail it had spilled out of the jar and was loose inside the bubble mailer. I had to dump it back into the jar. It did smell really good when I first got it and took it out but didn't last. I'm not sure if the fact that it spilled in shipping had something to do with that or not. But I put it in my laundry room beside my cats litter box. I never could tell a difference though. I was hopeful that it would smell great for a while but I never smelled it
