FunkAway Odor Eliminating Beads, Supercharged Odor Absorbing Beads, 12 oz

These gel beads are amazing! I put it in the room where our cat's litter box is and it eliminated the smell within a day. It smells wonderful, like a fresh linen dryer sheet to me. There are 12 ounces of three translucent color beads…blue, green, and clear. They are a little smaller than dime size and feel wet to the touch. The plastic jar is approximately 3.5” in diameter. You remove the slotted lid, peel back the sealed cover, and then replace the screw on lid. We have two dogs also so I put a pack next to the dog beds. It got rid of the smells so well around the house by eliminating them instead of just masking them. I've noticed that one pack does well in average or smaller rooms, but you might need two for a very large room. You could even pour them in a pretty bowl or jar for a decorative touch.

These odor eliminating beads are really nice and smell great. The plastic jar is good size with lots of blue, green, and clear odor beads. You unscrew the top, pull off the seal, screw it back on and you're good to go. I don't thin its overly powerful, which is nice. I have it near our cat litter boxes and it totally does the job.

Funk Away Supercharged Odor Eliminator work great. I placed them in my utility room which not only has the normal dirty clothes, smelly shoes but two litter boxes. The odor eliminator absorbed the odors leaving a light pleasant scent. It's not in the least overpowering. I'll be placing theses in areas that are stale and musty, like the garage and seldom used closets.

The smell is good but it doesn't keep the smell of cigarettes away but it's brought it down a whole lot!! I had to put it right under the sink which is where the smell was coming in to our apartment from and it killed it a whole bunch so thank you!

This funk away product contains water beads soaked in a fresh linen smelling solution. It smells great! I'm not sure that it's absorbing odors, but I catch a whiff of the nice aroma in the area that I placed it in often. I do like the container with the open portions on the top. The container is a good size and should last for a good amount of time. The water bead colors are visually appealing. I plan to try other fragrances for different areas in my home.

These beads come in a container that kind of looks like a three wick candle. When I received the item the smell was so strong I could smell it through the envelope but it wasn't overpowering. Once I opened it, you take off a film cover and the beads are exposed. I didn't notice a difference in the strength of smell at that time but after a day or two I couldn't smell it much at all anymore. I keep it in an extra bedroom as opposed to a closet or a locker so the amount t of space it has to fill is bigger so I think this would be better for smaller spaces. Still cute packaging and pleasant smell.

I put these odor eliminating beads in my guest bathroom and the scent just fills the room and all the bad smells are gone! I do wish that they did not spill into the package during shipping but I was able to retrieve them and place back in the container. Also I would like them to come in more decorative containers.

The set up for odor eliminating beads is easy--you unscrew the lid, pull of the seal and screw the lid back on, then set it where you need it. Inside the plastic jar are what appear to be orbeez. They are scented with what smells like a pleasant laundry detergent. The smell is like a fresh, clean smell. It is not overbearing. I keep mine in the bathroom and you can barely notice it is there. As far as completely eliminating odors, it did not really work for my bathroom. Basically it was a jar of scented orbeez that gave off a very faint scent. It is probably better for very small spaces. If you are looking for an air freshener that may be different than others, it could be worth a try to see if it works for your small spaces.

These beads have a super strong scent for the first day or two then the smell dies down. They are like water beads soaked in air freshener. I placed near cat litter box but I think the plug-in fresheners are more effective. This might best be suited for a small space like closet or bathroom.

Overall, I am not too impressed with the FunkAway supercharged odor eliminating beads. The package was easy to open and the instructions were super easy to follow, but it was pretty messy removing the protective seal. I immediately placed it in my kids' stinky bathroom and it definitely had a strong smell overpowering the bathroom smell for a day, but then after that, I haven't noticed any difference. I think the FunkAway smell is really strong and I didn't think it was pleasant at all. I would gently shake the product every few days, but no change at all. I don't like how sensitive the beads are to heat, and maybe since mine were a bit liquefied, that affected the odor eliminating capabilities? I'm not really sure if that's the case but I don't know why the smell didn't last more than a day and why it didn't remove the odor from the room at all. I do like the 12 oz. size of the jar. It's a nice size that is easy to put on a shelf and not take up too much room. I would recommend this if you want to try something other than a typical room spray because maybe you'll have better luck with it than I did, but I wouldn't use this again in the future for myself.
