Funrise - Tonka Mighty Motorized Police Cruiser

I bought this police cruiser for my 3 y.o. son, he loves it! Actually, I bought it for myself ))) and I so happy with this purchase.

I really wish this little car had been a better quality in that it made a terrible grinding noise right out of the box. The lights and sirens are something my grandchild would have really enjoyed, BUT the way this thing is designed is not good and is not interesting enough for a child, in my opinion. Yes, the vehicle is self propelled, but it is SLOOOOOOOOW moving and it only goes, what, less than, three feet max. And to top it off, this vehicle cannot be made to just roll across the floor if a child pushes it because the wheels do not freely move; they only move under power of whatever little loud, grinding electric device that is internal to the toy. Unfortunately, I will be returning this little car because it will not hold a child's interest for more than 15 seconds and they won't be able to use their own imagination while playing with it since the wheels (at least on the one I received) will not allow for a child to propel the car with physical propulsion. Top it off with the fact that the item looked used right out of the box. It had marks on it that made it look as though it had been removed from the box and messed with, but it is difficult to determine if I purchased a used/refurbished toy (hence the grinding noise it makes and marks on the exterior) OR if it was handled quite roughly and the marks are from that. Do yourself a favor and seriously consider what I have written here. I do not believe this is a genuine Tonka-made toy. It is likely that a toy company paid to use the Tonka brand marking and slap that on the toy and box since so many people think so highly of the quality of the products with Tonka branding. This, however, does not hold a candle to the Tonka dump truck I purchased a couple months ago that is steel construction and really, really durable and just overall lots of fun for the grandchild to play with.

The toy did not work. One of the batteries was corroded and it appeared to have been a used item. I replaced the batteries with new ones. It ran for a few minutes and stopped. I was not able to get the car to work. It was a gift for my grandson so I just wasted my money.

Doesn't move back and forth

Graphic stickers coming off and all bubbly. Car came dirty. Would not purchase. I purchased 2 cars in hopes the first one was just a fluke on how bad the condition was, but the second one showed up just as bad.
