Maxx Action Metal Truck, Children Ages 3+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about whether the Maxx Action Maxx Metal Dump Truck would hold my son's interest at age six, thinking he might have outgrown this type of toy. I couldn't have been more wrong! He absolutely loved it and has been playing with it non-stop. The build quality is impressive, and it has just enough "big kid" durability to handle his more active play. It's a great reminder that sometimes the classic, well-made toys are the ones that truly capture their imagination, regardless of the age on the box. It has sounds and the headlights actually light up!

it is a good quality toy. but it could be cheaper. maybe $18 is a price for it, if it was for me.

It looks as expected, nice size for a litte kid, not quite as impressive as all-metal Tonkas, but good enough for the purpose. Price is a little high for a standard dump truck, but not terrible given costs of other toys.

It's main parts are metal with several plastic parts as well. Overall it feels pretty durable. The truck has a button that makes lights and sounds start. Any little one who likes to play in the dirt will love this dump truck.
