The cat loved this pad the first time he laid on it. It's super soft, and really does reflect heat. You can feel the warmth reflecting back if you rest your hand on it. The cat is an outdoor feral/stray and I just wanted him to have a spot where he could be at least comfortable, if not warm. Somewhere besides the cement of the porch he sleeps on. I'd tried several pads, towels, and so forth, and he would try them, but then just move off them. The reviews for this were very good, so I thought it was worth a shot, and boy is it worth it. He sleeps on it at night, and will nap on it on a chilly afternoon. He just curls right up and sleeps, instead of fidgeting and trying to find a good spot, and moving around. He's comfortable even in the cold. Love love love it. Just a funny thing, he likes to play with the little tab on the end. He'll bat it and make it wiggle, then bite it. Then bat it again… a built in toy.

I feed and work with O'Malley Alley Cat to care for several feral neighborhood cats. This large mat I hope will help keep them warm this winter. One cat, Granite, is the first I adopted. He sleeps on a smaller mat. These are reasonably priced and attractive on my porch.

This blanket is amazing. I was skeptical at 1st, but read reviews, and figured I would give it a try. Glad I did. you can almost immediately feel the heat come back at you if you lay your hand on it. I got this for our indoor outdoor rescue cat who refuses to stay in at night now due to a new kitten. he loves it. It keeps him warm and I dont worry so much now if he decides to sleep in the garage o. cold nights rather then come inside. you will be happy with this.. and its bigger then I expected..I have it folded in half, and it plenty big enough for our 16 lb cat.

I bought this self warming pad for a stray cat I am caring for. I put the pad in its outdoor insulated cat house and the cat loves it. I like that the pad is machine washable.

We have three cats and they get especially cold during the winter months. For Christmas this year Santa brought them a self warming mat and they all cannot get enough of it! I ordered the large size and it easily fits two of our cats with them spread out, however all three could fit if they wanted to snuggle up together.

i put it outside the door of my outside cats house for her to sit on when it gets too hot in her house. she loves it! my puppy has one for when she is outside too but she has already chewed a hole in it! lol! it is not real thick but like i said makes a great sitting pad
