Ease of use. Covered up nicks and scratches on coffee table. Looks so much better after use.
perfect on wood
Keep in mind you need to be a little “artsy” with these pens. Keep a paper towel with you and rub with the grain of the wood to give a smudge appearance to help hide the marks of the color. Also know that it won't be 100% perfect but they cover scratches really well. I read a review to start light and go darker to find the correct color and it really helped me. I've used these on all different colors of wood for a few months and it's not failed me yet!
The markers work great for touching up nicks and scratches on furniture. I have used several Kit Wood Markers in the past. They have usually come in a SKit Wood Markers - Set of 12 - Markers. This is a very nice option. One thing I do recommend, is to have an old rag handy when using these. I touch up the scratch and then wipe it with a rag. It seems to blend in better this way. You can do extra coats or try a darker color if it still shows. I tried to touch up with my Sharpie. Even after trying to fix it with my furniture markers. Won't make that mistake again.
I was very nervous about how these would work and read some poor reviews. Although, they worked amazing and I am still in shock about the before and after!!! I used the wax crayons to fill in the deep marks in a lighter shade. I then use different markers over the wax to create my desired color!!!! It takes some time to create the desired look, but it felt very difficult to mess it up. I also recommend wiping with a paper towel as you go to avoid super pigmented spots.
For all those accidental small scratches - scrapes - or dents in the wood floors this product made them all disappear like magic for us. Even a couple scratches on my dining room buffet and table that i was not able to fix with other products previously. A wood floor guy recommended this product to try.
These were easy to match with different colored woods I had around the house. They covered up any white marks our furniture had and made our used stuff look new and higher end! I would totally buy again!
I have gray %26 white furniture %26 ordered based on seeing light gray, dark gray and white on the colors of markers offered- received completely different item: all brown %26 black and no sharpener! I paid a little more $14.99 because of the extra colors I thought I was getting- now I will have to return %26 order from a different company and hope they don't bait and switch me like this Company did! I should have been leery of all 4 %26 5 stars- now that I am reading the reviews they are obviously fakes- all using the same structured sentences and adjectives…
Picture is deceiving. There are only 6 colors; various browns and a black. I needed the gray.
