Puffs Ultra Soft Facial Tissues, 4 Count

We buy lots of store brand items from the various stores where we shop. Many times the store brands are indistinguishable from the name brands in both appearance and function. But there are a few name brand items for which we have not found an equal substitute. Puffs tissues are one of those items. As you can see from the pic, we buy both the standard rectangular box and the cubes. We buy the bigger boxes to go in places where they fit conveniently. For one thing, they are more economical that way. But for another, unless you put them in a tissue holder of some sort, the cubes tend to lift up off of their resting place when you go to snatch one out of an almost empty box. So when we can, we use the bigger, heavier, more economical version. But there are places where you sometimes need a tissue and there is not a good place for a full size box. That is where we put our cubes. As it empties you have to start holding onto the box to get one out, but it would be the same with another brand. When we can, we put the cubes in a dispenser that holds them in place. We buy the Puffs without lotion. I have used the lotion ones a time or two when I had a cold. They worked great for that because the lotion was soothing on my red nose. But for everyday use we prefer the plain. I shouldn't but I sometimes use them on my glasses, and the lotion smears them. Also, dabbing my eyes, the lotion sometimes gets into my tear film and makes my vision temporarily blurry. So we generally prefer the plain ones. And although it is a small thing, my wife says she thinks the Puff brand has nicer looking boxes than the others. So, in summary, we experiment, and will continue to try different store brands of different items. But Puffs are the tissues we will be using.

When I can get 12 cubes in a package at Sam's Club which I am not a current customer but my daughter is and sometimes pick up there. That of course is the best value for money. I have extreme allergies especially at the Spring and summer season. So softness and thickness is important to me. I also like the napkins that are like cloth but paper. All in all really like to watch prices and special rollout drops. I have my order delivered every 2 weeks since I no longer drive my family thought best to go that route. I think I am going to order these again. They're the best tissue I have tried and used. Very, very soft and at the same time strong. Being my age of 85 softness is a must.

super soft and i found it better than kleenex! doesnt rip as easily unless u have long nails lol but it helps not irritate my nose

Just don't let the picture throw you off. I meant to order two of the four box which would give me a total of eight boxes. However, my fault I ordered two little boxes. I disappointed myself.

Puffs Ultra Soft tissues are soft and comfortable to use, which is what I like most about them. However, I've noticed that they often leave a lot of little pieces of fluff behind. The tissues can also tear apart when pulling them out of the box, which can be frustrating when you just want to grab one quickly. They are comfortable, but I wish they held together better and didn't leave so much lint behind.

This is the second time I've purchased these. The tissues do not come out with the 2 layers together. Nine times out of ten they separate. Even with the 2 layers, they aren't very thick.

You'd think with the Kleenex brand, I would receive luxury tissues. Okay, well obviously i do not expect elite tissues. I do, however, expect, good quality and feel. I don't know if it's the box itself or that the tissues are packed too tightly- but every singke tissue rups in half when I try to pull it out of the box. I have tried every which way, even cutting the sides of the box to no avail. Plus, they're not that soft at all. Going back to the GV brand. Less expensive and better quality with the box store brand. It could just be a defective box, and the other 3 boxes will be fine. But, even one being a struggle isn't worth the extra money to me.

Worst facial tissues I've used they leave lint in your nose and in your eyes, I use facial tissues to blow my nose and for eye drops to wipe them and this left lint everywhere I will never buy puffs again.
