Hefty Slider Gallon Storage Bags, 40 Count

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gallon size storage bags from the brand Hefty. I use these to store my meats in the freezer or to store bulk products in my pantry. Material is plastic so the bags are used once and then toss to the trash can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty large size so big that I was able to fit a watermelon in 1.5 bags. Easy to use as it stands up and makes transferring food easy. Love the slide which makes it easy to close. Pretty tough because even though it held a watermelon, it didn't leak!

This is great to put your lunch bags for work or picnic basically anything. It's don't leak it can even holds water. I enjoy it I will definitely buy this.

They don't tear easily and are transparent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to slide closed, and fits large things! The bag isn't as thick as a standard freezer bag, but holds up well as long as you don't use it to hold anything spikey. I was able to get it to stand with some marinated meats with no issue or leaks.

The bag is great overall and works perfectly for storing fruits, vegetables, and boneless meats. However, I would love to see the thickness of the plastic improved for better durability. When storing meats with bones, sharp edges can cause small punctures if they hit a marble countertop. The expandable base is a big plus, making it fit more and stand upright on the table. Overall, it's a convenient and reliable storage solution, especially for items without sharp edges.

Several bags had seal issues. They would open due to manufacturing problems. Also some bags were torn open near the seal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bags themselves seem durable and thick, the zip top closure is quick to open and close. They do not seal well though. The zipper leaks . I'll probably use these for dry things or stuff that does not need a total seal.

The bag's were stuck together, likely by excessive heat while in storage, and bags that didn't tear the lettering was smeared. Apparently the bad condition was known and was why there was a Walmart bucks discount. That should be a red flag for potential buyers in future.
