These are good. I found adding them later when cooking is best, since the numbing effect gets diluted if you put them in first. And that's the whole point in buying them. Otherwise, just use regular ground black pepper.
Just started learning Chinese cooking. Sichuan peppercorns are the bomb! They're not used so much for adding ‘heat' to dishes, they are know for their mouth-numbing effect. It's quite pleasant and very fragrant.
Really fresh pungent peppercorn. Adds chinese flavor with just a touch.

I like a lil heat and a pepper bang and this did not disappoint! compliments my ausian takeout and my pizza. Nice spicy peppery bite.
Good for the price , Not good on the favor!! I have bought 2 other brands and they taste very good, this one not so much.
These are much too blah. Very little flavor and almost no heat or that numbing sitch. I put them in a small pepper grinder and use it when I grind black pepper.
The peppercorns were old. the shells have popped open on all of them from withering.
