I have 2 of this size itscalmodt a 2/3 of a 5 gallon bucket in actual sixjng need to knowvuts rated to hold 25 lbs. This one holds dried mealworms for chickens; other 25 lb one holds abiut 85 full sized dried pigs ears for dog chewing. I also have 2 80 pounder's which holds 50 lbs of dog food and 50 lbs of chicken feed. THESEARE RATED BY WEIGHT CAPACITY NOT VOLUME READ COMMENTS FOR IDEAS OF VOLUME YOUCAN REPLACE LIDS AND SEALS IN THESE Lids are airtight moisture proof.

We had a problem with ants . Had to throw away a brand new bag of cat food . Decided to get this to keep our cat food in . You can't smell the cat food when kept in these containers which attracts pests . It also keeps the food fresh .

Wasn't sure but when it got here I am very pleased. Not a cheap regular storage bin. It's solid like I can stand on it solid, seals tight and not the normal piece of crap pet food storage junk. Well worth every penny and a sound investment for your pet

I love this container for dog food! it is thick walls and side! we have 2 german shepherds and is is perfect for them! it is tight, but the lid closes tight! perfect dog food container, my only suggestion is the it has wheels on it! but, i just used plant wheels and attached! wonderful!

Keeps Dog Food Fresh. i have 3 Large Dogs and they love their dry dog food now because it's as fresh as the day I opened the bag. Keeps insects out including ants this time of year. In fact, I'm convinced they can't smell the dog food because the seal works so well. You know Ants! They can smell food from a distance. They named it correctly - Vault. Nothing is getting in there except what you put in there and the food is as fresh as Day One. Love It. Thanks for creating this great product.

the vittie vaults never disappoint. this is my 4th one. i still have and use the other 3. i just needed an extra in a new size. they do everything they claim and last a super long time

this is great. My large bag of kibble fits perfectly and it is so easy to push it around the floor to fill different bowls.(I have 5dogs) the top turns and seals great so ants can't get in. I love it.

Dropped the lid from about 18@ above the base and base chipped. Instructions say not to put the dry dog food directly into the contrasts the grease/fat from the food will absorb into the container walls and go rancid. Great!

I ordered this to prevent ants getting in my dog food. It has a nasty smell so I fill it with water to rinse it out. Water POURS from the lid. I check the band and sand down all the rough areas from the casting process. Done. Closed extra tight. Water still POURS from the lid. This thing is not even close to airtight, and certainly won't keep ants out. No better than any other storage bin out there. Also Walmart will make it your problem to return this large item no matter how far away you live. They will not send FedEx to pick it up because it doesn't weigh enough, and it won't fit in a FedEx drop box. You must drive it back to a store for return so keep that in mind if you order this online.
