Gamo Whisper Wildcat Break Open Black .177 Pellet Rifle W/ 4x32mm Scope

This gamo whisper wildcat looks really good. My previous shadow whisper is dead after 7 years and replaced a broken spring and then a leaking seal. Hope this one can last longer. Ordered Sunday night, received Monday afternoon, very fast delivery. Put my old scope on and test fired at about 30 yr target without zeroing, it's very powerful. Cons, not really a con, it's very heavy to break open, but it's reasonable because the power.

Nice, very powerful. Not for you if the whisper is what you're after, the noise is similar to a .22 short. Scope should have adjustable zoom on an airgun with this type of power. Shooting the Crosman hollow point pellets, and am happy.

Would like peep sights built into gun. Have to mount and zero in included 4x power scope which is a bit of a hassle for me here in the Chicago area in the winter, I am also a novice airgun owner. My original purchase from another store was a Gamo without the whisper technology and after the first few shots it went back to the store. It had the sound of a real firearm being discharged. I have neighbors so this was not suitable. This is much quieter though no where near silent. Cocking requires significant effort but is doable.

this is so fun to shoot. it's quiet, powerful, and lightweight.. hope it lasts for a while. seeems to be made well, but time will be the test.

You're supposed to be a super quiet, but it doesn't do it at all. Something wrong with that rating about to quiet air rifle. I don't recommend it if you need a quiet rifle.

They claim it has whisper technology but it is louder than my 22 cal. Rifle. Scope does not come mounted so it has to be mounted and zero'd. Wish it had iron sights so it could be used with or without the cheap plastic scope that is included. Other than that it performs well.

Advertized as Whisper ! How about a scream. My 22 caliber rifle is quieter. Disappointed to say the least. Also, FYI Set the scope at factory for 100' or less which would take care of most. Sights on this must have been for 500yrds.
