Daisy 177 Cal Pointed Field Pellet Ammunition, 250 Count

Good for hunting and plinking.

There is a small lip on the pellets that can sometimes throw off the shot. But other than, I was pleasantly surprised. These pellets have incredible penetration. But if bird hunting aim for the wing, or it will go through and fly away. But they work well for the $4.50 I paid to get the 250 of them to my door. And we've used about 20 and got 2 birds. Plus it took us about 25 pellets for me to properly calibrate the scope. But once calibrated the pellets usually fly true. Like I said, there is the occasional miss due to the lip on the pellets. But there so cheap that it's not a big loss if you miss

These are undoubtedly good pellets, but I ordered flat tops and got pointed tops, instead.

Good value for the buck but not for hunting or serious target shooting. I noted quite a few were deformed. Flyers were very common and fitting of the pellet tends to be on the smaller side. Used them in my stoeger x20s and daisy 880 and noted just good for playing around but nothing serious. Have done well though with crosman premier hollow point, wadcutters, and gamo wadcutters.

The pellets are very low quality, many were smashed and others had the side of each pellet not there or torn away! Don't buy these pellets, you'll just be sending them back, time and money wasted buying these pellets!

I've tried these in both .22 & .177 and they are very low grade pellets. They are characterized by a rough exterior, uneven flutes, and inconsistency of dimension. Resulting in very unpredictable shot groups. Definately not for anything other than plinking at pop cans.

I just recently purchased a Daisy Powerline 880S Air rifle to deal with a pest bird problem on my property. I bought a can of these pellets, and to put it short, they well and truly stink. The craftsmanship is poor, the surface is rough, and the accuracy is no good beyond 10 yards. I compared these to the GAMO .177 Bone collector pellets, and at 50 yards, the GAMOs were smacking a 2 inch diameter target. The daisy? they flew everywhere except to the target. One shot I fired saw the pellet hit dirt 15 yards short and a full foot to the left of the aim line. Buy something else.

Don't waste your money on this stuff. I bought 6 cans because they were cheap but they fly all over the place. Most of the pellets are deformed and even the roundest ones are very inaccurate. Gamo and Premium are far better and don't cost much more. I am shooting a high quality Benjamin Nitro air rifle and this is by far the worst projectiles I have ever shot.

These "Precision Max" air gun pellets are the absolute worst pellets I have ever fired in my air rifles. How bad are they? They are truly excruciatingly horrible in every way. To call them Precision Max is like calling a Yugo an elite classic automobile for the descriminating buyer. The groups resemble groups shot by a blind person.
