Garden Safe Brand Houseplant & Garden Insect Killer 24oz

The pesticide in this product is pyrethin , one used for many years for use indoors or outside. That is why I bought the product to spray afis on my indoor azaleas.

I love this stuff!!

This works perfectly for the small gardener who wants to zap the bugs directly. Tested it out a number of times. Even one shot on a grasshopper or earwig will do it, it takes about 15 minutes to stun them permanently. Some gardeners do not want to spray a lot of chemicals around: perhaps you have kids, pets, or do not want to effect your health. This spray has very little odor, and it had no perceptible effect on me, it doesn't mist out. Grab the flashlight, and with this spray, and a few nights in a row, and the pests will quickly retreat. I hope GardenSafe continues to make this excellent product!

This stuff wont kill bugs but it will kill the foliage on your plants. I bought this after bringing home a bonsai (from Walmart) that had aphids. All new growth was covered with aphids. This spray appeared to kill the visible bugs but even tho I sprayed the whole plant, as before all new growth was covered with bugs. After spraying several times the plant stopped putting out new growth. I also used it on some jade plants for mealy bugs, but all it did was make the leaves turn black. I switched to Ortho's Rose and House plant spray and am happy to say the bonsai is now growing well with no bugs (after one treatment) and the jades are putting out new growth.

Oh no, they keep coming back

This product works as well as its chemicals allow it to. Which is to say, it kills on contact, but it has no residual qualities. The bugs will be back as soon as it dries. But thats not the products fault thats the particular compound that its made from.

Product ok, but leaked during shipment.

First, there are NO directions. It killed my purple passion plant. Even with the little white bugs on it, it was alive healthy. 2 sprays of this and it's completely dead. MAYBE CONSIDER PUTTING DIRECTIONS ON THE BOTTLE. If you like your plants, find something organic.

I bought this broduct because I had thrips on my plants. I sprayed them every day for a week. When I came in to work on Monday my plants looked worse and the bugs were still on my plants eating away. I brought my Ortho Home Defense Max from my home and sprayed it once amd haven't seen them since. I bought this spray because it was safe for plants but it doesn't matter if it doesn't kill the bugs. One of my plants has three leaves from being eaten and since spraying them with the Ortho no more leaves have fallen off. Don't buy the Houseplant and Garden Spray it doesn't work.

Terrible product! DOES NOT work. Gnats love it! Lost receipt, could not return to manufacturer. Hate it! Don't waste your money!
