Gardener's Supply Company Earth Friendly Coco Coir Potting Mix

This is a good sprouting medium. I prefer it to regular soil, which seems heavy and needs perlite, etc. Don't let this dry out, and you should be good. I'm not an expert, but I've had better luck with coir than regular soil.

What else is new. Been buying Coca-Coir on Amazon for 20 years. 1.4 pounds is about 650g which is about 2 gallons. This seller represents that it makes 2- 1/2 gallons - by saying 10 quarts. They have 1.4 pounds printed on the package; no way that 1.4 pounds of coco coir will make 2 1/2 gallons = to 10 quarts, as claimed. Used to be baseball, now lying is the new USA favorite pastime

There is definitely better coco coir out there. my biggest issue is that it retains water too well. I wanted to add this to my soil to make it more airy but instead ended up water logging my plant's roots.

i thought it was the loose cocoir not the brick and it took forever to get here, wanted to cancel but it was too late
