the battery only lasts about 2 maybe 3 days tops. So you really have to be on top of charging it. as a watch its a little bulky on a small wrist. my 9 year old has been adjusting to it. you also have to download the garmin app, thats where messages go. so anyone thats put in the group to message your kid has to have the app. cost is pretty cheap. 9.99 a month to have connection to your kid. overall i am pleased with it. now to have the child wear it regularly.

great kid option. doesn't require a cell phone line set up or any contracts. enough features to keep the kids entertained but not too many where it becomes a distraction. lte messaging from Garmin is secure and fast.

Great watch, only kids one available that uses GPS for tracking distance for running and walking and biking. Don't use for texting or anything with the subscription so wish it wasn't so big and bulky as we only need it for the GPS tracking.

battery life is pretty low compared to other Garmin devices but it gets the job done and my child likes it

The watch itself seems well made. It's not super user friendly…. For kids. I do love the reminder alarm feature for my adhd kids! It's a good option for kids!

Great watch, got it for my daughter back in October but now a few months later her wrist smells so bad after she wears it, we have cleaned and sanitized it and nothing helps!

I wish my daughter could make audio to text. Also the alerts to my iPhone are easy to miss. Will use for about a year then looking again for an item with best usability

This does not have a calling option like it says it's voice messaging and it won't work from the app to the watch only from the watch to the app. My 5yo can't read so we will be returning and getting the bounce 2. It does track pretty well it's slightly off on the location but pretty close. The bounce 2 seems to also be slightly off but a little more accurate Overall we do love the quality and durability garmin kids watches have. But definitely worth the extra to get the extra features of the bounce 2. Especially for younger kids that aren't quite reading. If you have a child that can read and text back and forth and mostly just want to gps track this is a great option. We do love the durability of garmin they are pretty high quality and withstand swimming etc.
