Garnier SkinActive Refreshing Facial Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz

I bought this for my trip to Tucson, AZ. I loved it, as well as the complimentary face lotion, while I was in that dry climate. When I brought it back home my husband fell in love with it. Good stuff and clearly it was repurchased on our end. Next trip to AZ and this, as well as lotion, will be on my 'to pack' list.

This cleanser is very gentle on the skin and does not dry out the skin. Much better than the harsh, fragrant, anti-bacterial soaps that litter today's shelves.

The first time I tried Garnier SkinActive Facial Cleanser I was pleasantly surprised. My face was so gentle, so clean. I felt like my face is younger. Fresh and healthy. I continued to use it for another two weeks, in the morning and at night and I can tell you that I am very satisfied.

I bought this cleanser about a month ago and let me tell you how amazing my skin looks! First, I rinse my face with warm water. Then, I squirt about a pump and a half of cleanser on my palm and rub them together to create a slight foam. I massage it into my skin for 60 seconds and focus more attention on the areas where I get pores and texture. Lastly, I rinse it off with cold water and pat dry. Ever since I started using this, my skin has gone from rough and textured to baby smooth. The aloe creates a slippery surface on my face, which is great for making sure I don't tug at my skin. It doesn't leave residue, is not oily, and when done in a routine with other creams and products, can reduce redness and acne. Did not burn, sting, or cause a reaction.

I've been experimenting with different skin care products to see what works for me. As expected, my skin ended up a little dehydrated (I'm usually an oily gorl). I came across this while in a dollar general. I saw that it said “vegan formula” so I was like “bet”. After a few uses, my skin skin felt drastically smoother and more hydrated. I love the texture and gentleness.

At first, I thought the formula was so thin it would not really get into the pores well enough to give me that true cleansing feel, but it definitely does! The aloe in it is very soothing and once you start to gently massage it into your face it lathers up quite nicely. The scent it very pleasant and gives you that refreshing feeling that i found is great for giving me that extra nudge I need in the mornings! I have very sensitive skin and am hesitant to try anything new because I will either break out or feel like my skin has completely been stripped; then I'll have super dry, red, irritated skin- and no one wants that on their face! Thankfully this formula has the prefect balance and is perfect for sensitive skin!! I definitely recommend it for anyone who has sensitive combination skin that needs a cleanser that will add a little umph to your morning or nightly routine with it's refreshing scent and feel. I have found that I love it the most as an in shower facial cleanser. Love love love that it is 99% derived from natural ingredients and is a vegan formula! Just adds even more peace of mind knowing I am not putting any harmful chemicals, dyes, or perfumes on my sensitive skin!

it's my go-to facial cleanser. I can no longer find it in my local department stores/pharmacy so I went to Walmart, and for a cheaper price too :) !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased using this product. It's a mild cleanser for everyday use with a faint aloe scent. I have combination skin so this review would be most helpful to someone with similar skin type. It didn't leave my skin feeling tight and there was no tingling sensation. The feel is similar to Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser. It's a tad bit too gentle of a cleanser for my taste and I could do without the faint aloe scent. But overall it's a good product for daily use so if that's what you're looking for, I would recommend it.

I love to have plant based products and be more ecological, but this facial cleanser doesn't was face well, the hardest to wash is the eye mascara and the sunscreen, both remain in the face no matter how much you scrub

Very watery. A few pumps drips right through your fingers. Doesn't remove (eye) make up. Basically, its watered down aloe vera gel with an okay fragrance.
