ease of installation, look nice
It's very good for small kitchen.
I love this light!!! And I am sooo glad I bought it!! It is so cool the way you can change your light brightness. I just set it and left it at what I want. I have it connected to a light switch. Super cute too!
WOW, everything i wanted in a light - except a wall holder for the remote
Just installed today, I had low expectations because the price is relatively cheap. It impressed me. Perfect for my office.
It does not mount flush against the ceiling. In a closed room you would not notice it. I have a large opening for bar stools at the counter. you can see the metal intallation box between the light and the ceiling. Hooking up the light was no problem. 2 people could not get the grooves lined up to mount the light to the mounting bracket due to lack of space, height, and visibility. You have to be high enough and tilt the light down toward yourself so that you can find the slots on the backside and try to keep them over the screws while you line up the slots towrd you. Then you slide to lock in place. Next you need a long phillips screwdriver to tighten all four screws.. I keep it on the white light setting but it is still not as white as other lighting in the room. The remote is a nice touch but I won't use it since I don't like the warm lighting in my kitchen.
Mt husband is an electrician and he installed this. He remarked how crappy the setup is for installation. Remote worked well and got to set the light to the exact hue that I wanted. Lo and behold if you use tbe light switch as your main source to turn/off the light, it resets all your features and every time you turn on the light you get a different colour/hue/setting
I ordered this item and received a mattress. After getting that dealt with thru Walmart, I reordered I received the light but the box was marked Walmart returns. Inside the box, the hardware bag was opened and all the parts were loose. We called Walmart, but we decided to test it. It worked so we installed. Walmart was good to work with and would handle the issue with the third party vendor
The light fixture is actually 40 inches long and not 47 as described. I had to get the job done so I used it.
After putting in new batteries and hitting the ON button the light didn't come on. No explanation for "Turn On/ Matching Code/Clear Code" 1 2 3 4 ON/OFF what is the function for these buttons. No explanation on what these buttons do. After hitting the brightness buttons up and then down, the light finally lit up. After getting it on, I was reluctant to use the remote for power on power off and will use the light switch only to turn the light on and off. Light never flashes 6 times as stated in instruction.
