GasOne GS-1000 1 Burner Butane Camping Stoves

I can't say enough good things about this. The quality is excellent. I love the carry case and it's so simple to use. I only buy gasone products when they're available for my cooking needs. Delivery was quicker than promised and the price in Walmart was better than anywhere.

I haven't tried this one I just bought but I had one before so I know it's a good model. I find the butane stoves are far safer and cleaner and less maintenance then the stinky white gas types. The fluid would get on everything, I've had fires from the old liquid types that easily could have gotten out of hand. You still need to read the manual if you've never used this type and if you hear a hiss and it is off, or smell gas, take appropriate action. Still it's much safer and can be used by generally anyone of intelligence . If you live at camp or have a power outage, take this to cook with in a pinch or emergency use. Good for picnicking but may require some blocking of breeze to prevent it from the burner flame being blown out.

The drip pan with pan supports is not attached to the stove. It gets flipped upside down to store into the stove to reduce height. This makes the stove thinner. Also means I cannot hook a finger under a pan support to lay into the storage case or extract it. Need 2 hands grasping side to lift out or into storage case. There is less metal underneath probably to reduce weight, but my fingers can extended into the cavity of the stove when grabbing. Far more stable than those super lightweight camping stoves that screw into a squat butane canister. Puts out enough heat to get a roiling boil for a pot of water. Overall pleased with purchase. Been using the Coleman for many years, hopefully for many more, and hoping this stove lasts as long. An advantage to the unattached drip pan is easy clean up at the sink or in dishwasher. Packaging was poor. Cardboard box was flimsy, and got crushed. There was a cut along one end. No damage to stove, though. Insufficient styro peanuts inside the box to keep the product from bouncing around inside. Surprisingly the stove and storage case were not damaged. Have used egg sized to 12" pans, cast iron and non-stick. Stove and pans atop supports are stable. Butane canister lasts for many meals. I usually cook under low heat unless I need a roiling boil. Clean burning (no soot on underside of pans).

I used this stove while we were RV ing, instead of cooking on stovetop inside. It worked perfectly. It will be included with every trip.

Like: Perfect size, the included case makes thing easy to store and transport, easy to find fuel Suggestion for improvement: It would be awesome if we could fit the fuel canister into the storage case.

just right for one person

had a little pop tent did my gardening prep. an added a little happy here happy there. this is my good morning key routine and boy oh boy I got this thanks to Walmart. it works perfectly.one happy old lady garden crazy staring my day with a hot cup o tea!!! appreciate everything in the morning,, 🙏

Easy to use, light weight. Loved that it came with a case.

Arrived with broken buttons and case like it had been smashed Tried to return and store said it was normal wear and tear by me and couldn’t be returned. Wear and tear? When I haven’t even used it NEVER AGAIN

It doesn't catch fire well
