GASTROPOD 6 Pack Aluminum D-Ring Carabiners with Screw Gate Lock, Lightweight Keychain Clips for Camping and Hiking, Not for Climbing

I bought these for some leathercrafting projects. The idea being to sew a piece of leather shaped to perform a function such as holding a hat or coat around the clip and then use the clip to attach the leather piece to a backpack, car, whatever... These are sturdier than the really cheap ones and not as expensive as the ones meant for climbing (WHICH THESE ARE NOT!). So, they occupy the middle ground in quality and price that is required for my projects, since the only things I'll be hanging are just a few pounds.

I purchased these to form a small chain to hold down a pair of sunscreens in my front carport. They are perfect for this purpose and easy to attach, remove when the screens are up, and reattach when the shades are lowered. They are a big improvement over wire the guys used and they look professional. I am very pleased with the durability and quality and they were not expensive. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great product.

Product exactly what I needed.

Bought these to prevent dog from releasing the slide bolt on her crate. Day 1: Puppy unlocked the sliding lock mechanism on the carabiner, and snapped the tension rod off of the carabiner. We thought that was a one-time event. Day 2: puppy did the same thing - the carabiner lock did not hold and the puppy snapped the entire carabiner open. Day 3: same thing again. These carabiners are very fragile and not capable of staying locked. A dog successfully unlocked this model of carabiner every day until the package of carabiners was just a pilebof broken devices. Do not buy these - get a better quality product elsewhere.
