This is a remarkable little computer. I just received mine and am loving it. I got all the updates for Windows 11 installed very quickly. It's super fast with the SSD. Some people complained about it not turning on at first. For some reason you have to hold the power button down for just a little bit. Also my battery was at 3% on the first boot. I recommend that you plug it in before beginning and do hold the power button for a second. You can't expect much from the tiny speakers so connect an external bluetooth speaker to it. You'll love the factory desktop pic too :o) I can't believe the quality of this PC for such a low price. I remember my first Gateway with a Pentium 4 3 GHz processor, 512MB or RAM and an 80G hard drive was $1000!

Im in college and had to get a PC using Windows software laptop because my Chromebook wasnt compatible with LockDown Browser to take tests online with. Very nice laptop, i love everything about it!

We like this laptop. Buying again even though the first one now has a VERY swollen battery. Not sure how long this has been occurring as a child is the user and did not communicate this issue. Good enough for Minecraft. Battery "never any good" per user. See bulge in photos of sticking out trackpad, and computer will not close.

It's very good laptop, it's keep give me the blue screen after 4-5 hours used. It's been give me the blue screen like 3-4 time already.

WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAPTOP, FIRE HAZARD! I just received it, opened it up and plugged it in. Screen would not turn on, then I hear a weird noise coming from inside the laptop. I look at the bottom and notice a white piece inside BRIGHT RED and smoking. The piece turned bright red within 3 seconds of me plugging the charger in. Started melting from the inside out

"Brand New laptop" ha The computer showed up two days late and I can't even use it.

I have to constantly uninstall the touchpad driver and restart this piece of crap because the touchpad gets messed up. I'm talking weekly. everything was fine for the first month or two, but now this is an ongoing problem. Obviously I can hook up a mouse if I need it, but either way this product never should've been sold. I don't know if it's just a faulty touchpad, or all of them are junk and this eventually happens. Either way, last time I buy anything made by Gateway, and last time I buy a computer from Walmart. Absolute, infuriating trash.

1 year and 24 days and the battery is expanding.... the mouse pad on the laptop has lifted up and out , the case on the back is bending and 1 screw is holding the back on and is bending. the whole front and back are about to go bang and explode. do not buy.

I was sold a used blue one that does not work. Had to be factory reset upon arrival with a gateway rep as it did not work from the moment it was opened!!! It also keeps freezing up and disconnecting any usb devices etc. Do not recommend at all... Will be returning item for a full refund!!!

Looks nice for the price, but couldn't get any activity or lights from the device or charger when plugged in and power button pressed. I contacted Gateway immediately, and they are going to send a new charger, although I provided further info that it may be the computer itself. The replacement charger is going to take over 2 weeks to arrive (3 weeks after 1st contact). I don't know that I have the patience to wait for the charger when I've used nearly all of my patience with Gateway CS and it may not solve the issue. I also got poked about my receipt screenshot not having my name and address on it (Walmart's website issue, not mine); I asked Gateway what they would need if I bought it in-store with a paper receipt that has no info on it either (no response received). No idea how a working computer rates.
