Gatorade Chocolate Chip Protein Bar, 2.8 oz, 6 Count

We have been searching for a substitute for the now-unavailable Zone Perfect bars (the dark chocolate was our preferred flavor of those.) This bar, though not made with dark chocolate, has a similar crunch and flavor, in case other Zone Perfect fans are looking for a protein bar.

These are one of the very few protein bars my 14-year-old son will eat. We have to hide them; otherwise, he will take the entire box to his room and eat them in 1-2 days. Our Walmart doesn't keep enough of these in stock, though, as we can only find them one out of every 3 times we shop.

Very chewy and not as chalky as I thought it would be texture wise. Great idea for a meal replacement. Not good as a regular granola bar snack as it's very high calorie, but great if you need to eat a meal on the run or if you're doing serious exercise.

These are much larger than your average bar. The texture is get. And has just the right amount of sweetness. It is a very good “pick me up” when you're starting to get tired. I'd rather have these than candy bars. It's loaded with chocolate chips and the outer coating is chocolate as well. It makes you feel better than eating loads of sugar in a regular candy bar.

They taste a little like chocolate marshmallow bars with chocolate chips covered in chocolate. I like these as a meal substitute because they are large, filling, and yummy. My sole complaints are that they are not cheap and they can be hard to find sometimes in certain flavors.

One of the better protein bars I have had in a while. If you are looking for higher protein this isnt it, but as a balanced bar it is good. Kept me full and away from cravings

Tastes great for the whole family! Perfect for road trips and a smart choice for back-to-school snacking. Not sure if it gives an energy boost, but the large size definitely makes it a great value.

My key is absolutely love these if they were a little cheaper I would definitely buy more at a time because they love them but for now I'll buy one at a time

It's designed for post‑intense athletic recovery, not casual snacking—yet it's sold in everyday settings where people understandably treat it like a normal bar.

I do like the fact that there is a good amount of protein in these bars. But that's where it ends. I really wanted to like these. The outer chocolate coating is ok but the inside is granular and rough with a chalky taste and leaves a strange aftertaste. I could barely get through one bar. Massive difference from the Gatorade Chocolate Peanut Butter.
