Good stuff
I was in the last 10k of a 100k ultra, Midnight Moose, Chelsea Quebec Canada September 2017, it was 30+ Celsius...super hot...I had my 8th gatorlyte..packet...I finished strong! Before Gatorlytes I would have finished cramping, nauseous or DNF!
This is a great tool to stay hydrated and keep your body going, especially during the summer. The only down side is that it is very difficult to find.
CanNOT live without this stuff. I live in north Texas. The summers are dangerous here. 100 temps with 80% humidity. And I sweat a lot. I used to drink plain Gatorade but I would still be completely fatigued and crampy after working outside or exercising outside. This powder prevents all that. It does make your Gatorade taste less sweet, but that's a small price to pay for the benefits you get in return.
I have been using Endurance Gatorlytes for 4-5 years. I am a 60 year old who lives in Mississippi where it gets very hot. If I don't take a Gatorlytes after doing yard work etc., I get SEVERE, really terrible muscle cramps. I keep these on hand like I would keep aspirin.
It's a great supplement to replace lost electrolytes when my kids are playing extensively in the summer or even during the year. It definitely prevents the cramping and dehydration. We add out powder to the gatorade drink for additional electrolytes and it seems to help a lot.
Great product. I ordered 2 packs (20 sachets each) for my long runs to replace the lost Sodium, Potassium and Magnesium. Recently did 48 mile (4x4x48 David Goggins) challenge and went through these sachets. Gatorlytes helped me to keep up the energy during the intense runs. I used one packet for each .5 liter water bottle. There is no taste as there is no sugar in the product. I suggest using Stevia if you like to have tasty drink. Some times I used to Stevia but most of the days I am fine with the product as is. Definitely helped me during hot days by adding the solution to cold water and getting all the minerals that I needed.
This is the only product I have found that actually relieves my leg cramps.
The Gatorade Endurance Gatorlytes Powder packets work really well. I got the unflavored packets and you can mix them with pretty much any kind of drink.
