GE 12-Outlet Surge Protector With 2 USB Ports, Black

I like the large number of outlets this has, and the usb charger. The cord itself is generous, but the usb charging port has its own separate cord and that is handy, but I wish it could be longer.

That's what I wanted is exactly what I needed. I love it.

Multiple outlets, with guards and well spaced so that even the bulky plugs fit in with the others. The usb charging extension is perfect option for me allowing me to plug in from my desk where i can easily see and reach the available port hub instead of getting on the floor and under my desk to find the usb ports at the protector base. The blue lighting showing the protector is on is also easy to see under the desk where it's darker. I can plug in macbook pro, 2 windows10 laptops, iPad, Android 10in tablet, a 19in monitor, a 32in monitor, Canon WiFi Printer/scanner/fax/copier, and stiil have room for more, plus charge my phone and fitbit by the usb extension. And, though I haven't done so, it can be mounted to the wall.

We have purchased several of these for our home and they just can't be beat!

Like: Appears to be heavy duty. Nice design. Fits in with decorum in any room. Awesome color. Lighted on the sides as to be seen in the dark. Dislike: Design appears to have ability to have between 8-12 spaces for USB charging ports. Only have two. Very heavy in weight. (I suppose it can't be helped.)

I have similar of the same product from ge and in the past they have worked well for me. So I decided it looked nice in the pics and I liked the light up sides little pricey but why not. This is far from reality of the pics first the whole sides don't light up. Only about a inch from the top (if even that). This product is very deceptive in its advertising. The mid plugs are way to close and you can't get normal things plugged in nexted to each other and it's not eazy to work anything in the plugs at that. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase.

periodically an outlet will stop working and I will have to use a different outlet. very disappointing quality from GE. Have a TV and soundbar plugged into the device

I purchased this surge protector from Walmart in April 2020. A electrical surge hit my home in June 2020 and two items plugged into the GE surge protector quit working. I filed a detailed claim with Jasco, who manages claims for GE. I included receipts for the surge protector and the two items (a wireless router and a TV) that quit working. I also sent them photos of the router and TV. In August I received a letter from Jasco denying my claim. They said the surge protector didn't fail. If it didn't fail, what happened to my router and tv? I did file a claim with my homeowner's insurance company for other items that were damaged in my house that weren't plugged into this surge protector. They agreed that an electrical surge hit my house and paid my claim for the other items. I researched and now have Tripp-Lite surge protectors in my home. What good is a surge protector if they won't back their product?
