I live in a two story , I bought the item before the hurricane. It keep my entire downstairs very cold when the lights went out for 4 days during the hurricane.

Too early to give good feedback. It is working great so far. It is being used in a 5x15' utility room. I am having problems getting it to do what I need it to do. Its either too cold and gets shut off, or too warm. still working on it!

The package arrives outside my door and, low and behold, its not even what I ordered! Not the same btu. Not the same model. Not digital. No remote or capability. Not even the same color! In a box without padding and, upon closer inspection, realized it was someone's else's return forwarded to me by the vendor. Really wanted to try this unit out but not in the cards. Walmart assisted in making it right thankfully...

did not open it right away but when i did the casing was bent now im skepitacle about it lasting when i try to add picture sight want eork

Item received damaged and bent up frame. I am having so much trouble trying to return the item for undamaged air conditioner. I work as a city official and did not receive the item to my home till over a month after ordered. I ordered two air conditioners. One was fine. I ordered online due to no airconditioners being in stock in the store. I have never ordered on line from Walmart. Now I am getting messages no matter what time I call the 1800walmart number that they are closed. Or they try to get me to get some product. I just want my air conditioner replaced. the weather is turning hot and I am too elderly to sit in the heat . Nor can I afford to just give money away for a damaged boxed product. It was March when I tried to return it. It is now April .

Started leaking coolant after 4-5 months of use. Supposedly has a one year warranty, yet when i followed GE's instructions to make a claim, they said it was no longer covered. I bought it in April of this year.

The cooling on this *Brand new air conditioner, quits blowing cold air… it still blows air but only fan air! Waste of money! Call me in two months ago BTUGE air condition. Perfect. That works perfect but the 6000 BTU air conditioner does not do what is supposed to do.

This air conditioner is cheaply made. Likewise, it did not come with enough foam insulation, and the insulation provided was the wrong size. The side panels were to small for my window. Granted my house was built in 1950, but they should provide parts that can accommodate all types of windows. Though the description was that it came with the install kit, the support bar for the part of the air conditioner that goes out the window was not included. I then had to pay the installer twice because he had to come back after I bought the support bar. This cheaply made air conditioner became very expensive. I paid Walmart for the install not knowing that they don't know the people they send to your home.
