Omg we love these new dynamic bulbs. We had the original led color changing CYNC bulbs too. And these are worth the extra few dollars if your looking for something that does light shows synchronized with sound/music. Perfect for the holidays and any events you may have. And each bulb can have up to FOUR colors PER BULB. Which makes for an interesting and fun way to let the lights dance with their colors. You can control from google home or Alexa etc. great for scheduled automation home/away or wake up/sleep time too. But for just regular use, honestly i prefer to just use the GE CYNC app imo. We love them so much we also got the dynamic strips for out cabinets and shelves too. Obviously it's not something you'd use the colors all the time for. But it's def nice to set the tone for certain evenings or events.

Easy app download and setup. Works on an older lamp (1950's) beautifully! LOVE the versatility and ease of operation. Even husband, soon to be 65, now wants to bring the whole house together with "smart" products. Loving the options and the convenience!

First time using a smart light bulb. I bought the light bulb for bedroom lamp. Love the different settings and the app is very user friendly. Looking to buy more for other areas of my home.

Actually I haven't been able to setup the smart bulb yet, but I've heard by many this particular bulb is great. And would like to say the pickup went so nicely and very fast.

These bulbs have seriously saved me! I lost the ability to turn on my lights on my fan in the ceiling so when I go in my room it's super dark. Well now I don't have to fumble around with lights anymore….I just hit a button in my phone. So easy!

The bulb looks great but isn't very bright. There's more affordable options for brighter smart bulbs. This one appealed to us because it had multiple light points on the bulb and is able to make more interesting patterns and blends. While it does do that, you won't notice it much if your light has a shade over it. Ours is fully encased in a glass cover that obscures all the things you don't want to see. It requires its own app which is a dealbreaker for people who already have several apps for several different brands or types of smart lights for their home. It starts to get excessive. Once set up in its own app, we are able to control it with our echos. We can even tell it to turn the light “rainbow” or “sunset” or other settings that are specific to this light. It seemed moderately annoying for my wife to install the app and figure out how it works and get the bulb functional for us. As if you couldn't tell from the last paragraph, I'm totally over apps so I had no part of it. If this had been a 100w equivalent bulb I would probably still question the price point but it would make more sense. As it is, it's a 60w bulb with a gimmick that you won't use very often stuck behind its own app.

I have a useless light bulb now that I paid $20 for except that it gives me a light just like the one from the dollar store for $1.25 because it will not work with standard Wi-Fi
