A source of LIGHT in a storm!!!!!
The first time I saw these was in Lowes. These are amazing. There are great during power outages and sometimes we have a lot during certain seasons. Then I found them at Wal Mart. Wow!!! The better buy is at the W! and in a multipack. Do yourself a favor and pick these up especially if you can't afford a generator.

it actually works, not like older photocell bulbs
Long ago, we referred to this kind of bulb as "having a photocell". For me they were usually glitchy, didn't always work, or flickered on and off. THESE are much better. They actually work! The sensor appears to be inside the base of the bulb, with two small windows to let light in from two sides. I think that's what makes it work better. I like the color of the light. Most of all, that it actually works like I'd expect.

Perfect for Porch Lights!
Work perfectly and so convenient to use. So many times the lights were left on until late mornings, no longer a concern.
