Only style of bubls for open light fixtures. I owned an MCM house and they have a prevalence of open light fixtures. Between the soft white color and glass construction, they are indistinguishable from classic bulbs. They also seem to last a long time.

Sort of weird to write about a light bulb right? But I am older hahaaha and am still getting used the the led bulbs. Never like the light the way older soft bulbs were. I do t really like a lot of light, unlike most people, and despise over head light of any kind. But if I do use the light in the ceiling fans for quick light needs these are perfect. It's soft and clean. And I was very happy with the fabulous packing they did! Arrived all perfect and I will reorder again! Nice soft light that reminds me of bulbs of the past.

A good price for a 4 pack of some quality bulbs. I prefer the soft whites, and these work well.

My lights are on most of the time. The bulbs last a very long time and my electric bill went down. Very happy with the light bulbs.

used three of these in the ceiling fixture of a kids room bc they did not like our daylight bulbs. it's quite a bit warmer but perfectly bright for reading etc

I am so happy to find a soft LED! I do not like bright LED bulbs and I have been trying to figure out what kind of LED I needed. Finally I got these 40 watt equivalent, soft white, general purpose bulbs and they are just what I needed! I guess all use all those other bulbs I have purchased at the barn.

I did not receive these bulbs. They were substituted for 60 watt. I was very pleased with the communication on the substitution.

So I purchased this coz I thought the color would be more white. Coz it says soft white. But when I turned on my lamp it showed up like yellow-ish.

Defective batch. I ordered these in a couple of the bulbs coating was missing from the inside, so I called Walmart and they promptly refunded. So I re-ordered and the exact same thing was on the ones that I re-ordered.. I would have no problem giving this five stars as typically GE is a high-quality product and last long this particular product needs to be taken back and recalled due to defective coating. Hopefully Walmart will send these all back to the manufacturer and get back to the great long lasting G products that they normally provide. This was a rare exception as I've never had this issue ever with GE products. It appears to be simply a bad batch. I would recommend that Walmart relist with a different SKU number once they have resolved the issue and returned all the defective product to GE so that this is no longer associated with their defective supply.
