Lemme start by saying I'm technologically illiterate, but I own a Samsung TV and broke the original remote. I've been lazy and just getting up to use the TV buttons to swap HDMI hook ups. Well the TV button broke today, bought this remote as a last resort and assumed I'd fail to connect it. But, I literally opened the battery pack, pressed the TV brand button while pointing towards TV, and it actually worked. COULD NOT BE EASIER!! Very pleased, would buy a million times over. I think I could explain it to my grandma to even set up!! Love it.

Installation was incredibly easy. I simply selected Samsung in the hidden setup buttons, turned on the TV, and everything worked perfectly right away. Much simpler than the original remote — I absolutely love it. Highly recommended if you want a quick and hassle-free setup!

It took me less than one minute to get this remote connected to my Samsung smart TV. It is fully functioning and I love it! It is well designed and has only the functions I need, not the 20 extra ones that are on the tv remote. I did a lot of research to find one similar to my Roku remote and this is it. My Roku doesn't connect to the internet right now and trying to use the remote that came with the tv is pretty ridiculous. I am very happy with this. Highly recommend!

best money spent,so easy to connect to your television so easily.No frustration, as long as you have one of the six tvs on back. Just read the info you will be Just fine. again best money I ever spent. I will keep coming back to this remote every time.

This remote is really easy to use straight out of the box. put the batteroes in, choose your TV brand (Vizio for me)and then turn it on. That's it. It's backlit and really straight-forward. I haven't had it long enough to rate battery live, but everything else is a solid 5 star.

My kids keep breaking my remote controls or losing the back of it . So I gave this one a try and I'm so happy with my purchase . Not too expensive, so easy to get together . Takes 2 of the smaller Triple A batteries. When you take off the back panel for the batteries , it has 6 options to which Device you want to connect to . You just push the button and it's ready to go . Also I love that the buttons light up. Main buttons for streaming is Netflix , Prime Video, Disney %26 YouTube . I also like that the back of the remote , has a latch so my kids won't lose the back of it

Did not come with batteries, but once 2 AAA batteries were inserted and aimed at my Samsung smart tv, pressed the power button and TV turns on, it is preprogrammed for Samsung tv and several other brands, it took 1 minute after unpacking remote to have it working, very easy. recommended for tv's - Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio and any brand of Fire TV and ROKU TV. A code list, around 300 or more, just about all known brands is included. I went from using 4 remotes, to just 1. I am happy with my purchase. Good quality, Worth the money.

Such an easy controller to set up one. Button in my TV was programmed very cool. The backlight is awesome. Definitely, will be buying another wand definitely recommend use her friendly on the bad cover. Is the budget's program. Your TV. It's not complicated at all.What a wonderful remote

I recently bought this after losing my original Vizio remote during our move, and this worked perfectly as a replacement. Setup was quick and easy, and it connected to my TV without any issues. All the basic functions work just like the original in terms of power, volume, input, and menu navigation. The backlight is a really nice bonus, especially at night. Which thanks to perimenopause, is when I do my best Netflix watching marathons. It doesn't have every smart shortcut button (I use a Roku remote separately on the same TV) but for everyday use it does exactly what I need. Great value for the price and a solid backup or replacement option. Very happy with this purchase!

Deceptive marketing - this does not work for streaming boxes like Roku TV or Fire TV. Only for the Television that is powered by Roku or Fire. Save your money and skip this item in my opinion.
